I don’t know if I can get jiffy mix here I’ll have to keep an eye out for some.... that casserole looks delicious.
When I was a young bride my grandma told me a secret.... “if you are late making supper just throw a few onions in a frying pan - they will wait forever and not complain because they know something good is coming.” I asked her what if I don’t need onions to go with supper? She said ... “ put it in the oven and it still will work”
I have been using that trick for years now and it works just as well for people who don’t like onions... they still know something yummy is coming. Best advice I ever got as it saved me many of times.
My favourite kitchen item is my waffle maker that I received as a gift. I use it to make family brunches once a month.... making those memories you keep telling us to make. 👍🏻

Wonderful Gay! Just like you said The Good Lord does know when we need that little extra encouragement! I love the jiffy mix cornbread also but I make a big canister of my homemade jiffy mix with instructions to make just a jiffy mix size on the canister! It's just the perfect size for the 2 of us!.

2/3 cup all purpose flour
2/3 cup yellow cornmeal
4-6 TB sugar
1 TB baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
To this add 1 egg and 1/3 cup milk
Bake 400° for 20 minutes.
I make a large canister of this mix and use 1+1/3 cup mix
1 egg
1/3 cup milk.
You can adjust the sugar to your liking, but 4-6 TB is the range. I also add a big dollop of miracle whipp or mayo to my mix when making it. It makes the corn bread nice and moist but doesn't change the taste of it! I do that to the boxed Jiffy mix also.

I'm a Troy girl. A simple Plain Jane. When I make ham a cheese omelettes, it's egg, ham and cheese. I have to add green pepper, onions and mushrooms to my husbands. I love green peppers raw. I don't like them cooked. I really don't have a favorite kitchen utensil. I love them all! But, I use my spatula most often and I mean a real spatula. Back in the day a spatula was a spatula. "They" decided to add an egg turner or flipper to mean the same thing. Drives me nuts when "they" do that. There's no need for that. I refuse to comply! LOL I see you use a lot of cheese in your cooking. I also love cheese. Just curious - what would you do if fresh cheese were unavailable? Any substitutions in mind? I purchased powdered cheese. It's not the same but I'd be thankful for it just the same. Remember you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Many prayers for you and Troy.

I actually bought Jiffy cornbread mix at the store in your honor yesterday, (have not bought it for years) and I am so making this it looks delicious. All the good recipes I get from you I do not mind sending you all you want. Look forward to you making the tart, you are going to love it, thanks for the shout out, (I send the giant pictures to make you hungry, and so you get an idea what it should look like). I know you appreciate each and every one, also you reply to everyone, makes us feel good. And when you can't we understand and just worry something is wrong. I got a kick out of Troy in the background patiently waiting for you to notice him. My favorite kitchen tool is ME, because without me nothing would get cooked. You take care, yum. yum can't wait to make this, side dish with pork chops, or grilled chicken.

Okay I think you've done yourself today I think my family would love this and I think it's going to be a side on my Easter table. Something just a little bit different. We'll have to put some green onions in a cup in my kitchen window love a little bit of green on lots of things and they would be really handy there even with some in the garden a lot closer. Yes. The noticeable thing about jiffy is it’s sweet. So yours will work fine. The box has about a a cup to cup n half mix in it. So don’t make a huge bunch. ( 😂😂😂😂I just love bossing you!!!)❤️❤️❤️. You’ll love it. Cause I do😂😂❤️❤️😇

Viva is my favorite paper towel also. My mom like the Vive to use to blow her nose she was on oxygen and she said the Viva was the softest one for her to use they are sturdy.

I think I saw this recipe in one of your earlier videos and it has been on my list to try. One of my favorite kitchen utensils is my Swedish dough hook. I just love it!
