  • HOW TO MAKE PLANTAIN PORRIDGE
    INGREDIENTS :
    Green plantain- 2
    Bottle milk- 1 cup
    Coconut milk- 1/2 cup
    Water- 1.5 cup
    Cinnamon - a dash
    Nutmeg- a dash
    Salt- to taste
    Vanilla- 1-2 tbsp spoon

    Thanks for sharing, I use to give my babies plantain porridge, but I love corn meal porridge, I have it at least three times a week.

    I’ve one question. How do I reheat the porridge?? Slow on stove top? And stir?

      stove top or microwave, add a little water or bottle milk after about 2 min mix and put it back in microwave, if its on the stove do the same on low heat.

    Has Ludo ever asked his Dr if he can take a magnesium supplement? I wonder if it would help regulate his heartbeat any. Magnesium is the mineral in our body that helps to regulate things like our heartbeat. When mag is deficient, an irregular heartbeat or occasional palpitations can be the result. I’m no doctor so I don’t know if that would make a difference in Ludo‘s case but if the doctor doesn’t see any harm, I sure would try it if he isn’t already taking one. I’ve had a few magnesium deficiency symptoms and once I identified that they were all related to the same mineral, I started supplementing with magnesium and every single one of the symptoms went away. I was having occasional heart palpitations but I don’t have a diagnosed heart condition. I was getting occasional muscle cramps, another symptom. Also, my sleep quality wasn’t as good as it used to be but once I started with the magnesium supplement, I started waking up so deeply rested it was insane. I actually take two different kinds because we naturally have multiple types of magnesium in our bodies. I take a liquid highly absorbable magnesium chloride, which tastes yucky 🤢 but I take it anyhow. I also take something called natural calm, which is a magnesium citrate and it comes in the form of a powder that you dissolve in hot water. That second one is also very good at helping to calm someone with anxiety, hence the name natural calm. I don’t suffer from anxiety per se but when I take natural calm, I have to take it in very small, I mean tiny doses throughout the day to get the recommended amount otherwise I will get really relaxed and want to take a nap LOL. One other magnesium deficiency symptom that comes to mind is not going to the bathroom regularly. Magnesium will straighten that right out LOL.
