Like 80% or higher of podcasts suck, they get no audience and thats because theyre all rely on a company with a name to do it for them.. but saying this podcast is presented by podcast one exclusively means nothing either. its all perceived value form people who dont live in a normies reality. If you made a good podcast and did the work yourself you wouldnt even need that many listeners to profit. Ideally you need just enough to lay in some sponsors if thats the route you take. Theres so many routes to do this when you're not lazy.

They can theoretically build each others audience. If you post your podcast to your own channel, you have to organically build your following through promotion. If you post it to a network that has a built in audience and a team that know how to promote your podcast, it can be helpful. But the problem is they’ll usually take a big cut. So you gotta weigh the cost/benefit.

I don't know why, but when a celebrity starts a new podcast, I lose a little bit of respect for them. Even if I'm excited on the surface. There used to be a time when we didn't know everything about our favorite celebrities. There was a bit of mystery. But now I just feel saturated by knowing every little thing about their personal lives.
Yeah its a big reason why "Hollywood" lost their cool factor. After the end of the 2000s. The mystery was lost and everyone became too familiar. Instead of being seen as "They made it because they're just that good" Nowadays they just come off as people who got lucky and dont understand the real world.

From what these lawsuits are about. These production companies are meant to be like cable companies that have a better chance of getting companies to buy ads for all the shows they have on "their network" at a bulk price and not needing to deal with multiple individuals from each podcast. But what's happening is these scumbags are treating them like tech startups, where they want to sign in a bunch of bug names and hope they can be a bit successful, so they can sell their company to a larger company like Spotify or a large conglomerate company that wants to be in the space.
If the company is based out CA and he didn't pay his workers, go to the labor board. State of CA sides with the employee and has many laws to protect wages. Get a good lawyer in LA they would love this shit.
