Bro....Islam is probably better and way much more well rounded. It was domination from Khabib when he faced DP because DP didn't have the experience of fighting or defending their wrestling style. After Khabib, he had 5 years to prepare for Islam and how he could defend against him. Also khabib's main goal was to ground and pound, and take you to deep waters, when he shot takedowns. Islam more so seems like he's always trying to go for a submission and that doesn't necessarily scream domination. But yes Khabib is the goat of that division and when it's all said and done, Islam will probably be up there with him.

I noticed that his fighting style in the Oliveira match was different from his style in the Volk and Dustin matches. He was much faster and more mobile in the Oliveira match
Oliveira was not as dangerous standing. Islam was a bit afraid of his knockout power. So he was rightly careful.
I think he changes his style to who his opponent is because every fighter has a different strength so maybe it’s a strategy

He was loosing clinch game in which he is too strong, kicking is his main weapon but he did not throw a single kick after 1st round.
Did you notice whenever he put dustin down he seem struggling he was making faces like he is in great pain.
But still he managed to beat Dustin on Feet and ground.
They can't even beat him on his worst day and he even dominate elites on his worst days.
Islam is so impressive. So far Dustin has been his toughest challenge. Stylistically, Kayla Harrison would probably be the only one to beat him on his ground game. I don’t believe in Man vs. WoMan but everyone else is defensively fighting Islam on the ground, Kayla would be the only one to offensively fight him on the ground.
