Yeah true, however from my experience things in the USA are very weird compared to the rest of the western world. A big problem stems from the 2 party problem, where everything turns into black or white. Let's start with the party labels, one gets called right wing (republicans), one gets called left wing (democrats). In reality both parties are right wing, democrats are right wing to center right in some aspects, republicans are far right. The parties have a lot more things in common than they think, especially compared to parties in other countries. Yet one gets called left and the other right because if there's only 2 parties, one will be on each end of the spectrum when that spectrum only has room for 2 spots. The thing with extreme people's/parties views in my country, is both of them act out emotionally rather than look at facts. Whether that's left or right. But in the USA this is the case for both parties, albeit the Republicans are almost entirely emotionally based whilst democrats do often bring up facts in their reasoning. The thing is, it's impossible to discuss politics in the USA whilst bringing up facts, I honestly think most Americans can't differentiate between opinion and fact anymore. Every time a minor social policy is brought up it gets shut down completely, even when it has worked well in literally dozens of other Western countries over several decades. And the strange thing is, the average republican is pretty poor, so how could they vote for a party that does everything against their self interests? It's brainwashing, so impossible to really discuss things with them when the lies are imbedded so deeply. There's so much discussion about emotional stuff and facts it's just beyond belief. A big talking point is the multiple gender thing and transgender stuff, something that 99% of the population doesn't care about but they act like it's a huge deal. Another one are facts being debated for whatever reason. Things like global warming not existing, a government controlled healthcare being bad, the unwillingness to reinvest into infrastructure, acting like a wall stops immigration when the majority of immigrants got through via ship/plane, ... It's just laughable, you cannot argue with facts. I have no idea how a person can truly believe the lies from the Republican party unless they're immoral and simply push the agenda because they're rich and want to keep the poor in line and their taxes low. The USA desperately needs more political parties, but I doubt it will happen anytime soon.

Joe kicks back on lots of people. That's the issue. He's inconsistent unless you realize it's about money/power. He's definitely softer to the people with more of it
@@tomisaacson2762if you guys are referring to Crowder then I think Joe felt comfortable because Crowder wasn't able to defend his position well at all. Also Joe likely feels he above Crowder on every level because he is. Joe has a tendency to play it safe with people he feels intellectually dominate him. Though even that has exceptions. Joe has had some highlights pushing back against Candace Owens, Ben Shapiro, Bret Weinstein (or maybe the other Weinstein), Dave Rubin etc. Though all those people are nowhere near as intelligent as their fanbase has been lead to believe.
The "elite" or whatever you wanna call them got ahold of Rogan years ago lol He hasn't had an opinion about anything important since like 2012 in the early years of his podcast.
What’s even more pathetic is that Joe had Jack back on, but had Tim Pool grill his Comms director Joe didn’t have the balls to own up properly and push back; he had a proxy debate
Joe doesn't have an original thought in his head, he probably brought Tim on because Tim was his thought leader at the time in regards to the Twitter stuff.
How does nobody understand Rogans interviewing style? It’s not that he agrees with Jack. He makes his guests feel completely comfortable so they will open up and let things slip that they would never say in public. If he was controversial and attacking his guests this would never happen. Just think how many times a guest has completely hung them selves on his show. Joe is a master at getting people to open up and tell their secrets in front of a massive audience. All you idiots reeeeeeing about Joe not attacking people sound like a bunch of high school kids looking for drama.

The worst thing about this interview was that it actually launched Tim the Tool Poole's career. Dude is insufferable and owes 100 percent of his viewership to being on Rogan with Dorsey.
Joe claimed he wouldnt have Trump on cause he didnt wanna platfrom political presidential runners like that. Then goes and platforms Bernie Sanders, RFK, Andrew Yang ect.... Joe shows his bias.
Definitely remember when these came out, and the 1st one might as well have been a paid infomercial( very well could have been tbh..) on how amazing Twitter was with every question being as much of a softball as humanly possible. The second one was way better but still awful even with Tim Pool as a surrogate interviewer for a lot of the same reasons. I'm pretty sure Jack Dorsey definitely got a courtesy call warnig him that they would actually be asking at least semi real questions which is why he brought his P.R. lady/ verbal bodyguard to stonewall anyone asking anything remotely critical. It would be really cool if did a video on some of the Doug Stanhope episodes after talking about some of the worst ones could do a vid about one of the best guests/eps. Since joe and Doug used to be friends and still are good friends he lets him say and do shit he would never let anyone else get away with . I'm pretty sure he's the only guest he lets chainsmokers cigs the entire pod..
The funniest one was easily when Matt walsh went on and said there are probably millions of kids who've transitioned when it was like 10k max. Lmao. The look of horror on his face when Jamie fact checked him was priceless
That was hilarious he immediately folded when presented with pushback. It’s amazing to me how they don’t know basic things about the stuff they talk about endlessly
'Approximately 1.6 million people ages 13 and older-0.6% of the population-identify as transgender in the United States, according to new estimates from the Williams Institute at UCLA School of Law. This includes 1.4% of youth ages 13-17 (about 300,000 youth) and 0.5% of adults (about 1.3 million adults).' HellOoOOOOOoOO
I’m questioning everything cause I literally don’t know I single person who has a twitter. How is it the most popular thing when everyone I know has a Facebook or tik tok but I never here anything about twitter
It's not that Joe wanted to let the trial stuff blow over, Joe was being a good friend and wanted to protect Alex from himself. Alex would've got himself in some shit if he came on before or during his trial. It would've made it 2000% worse for his court proceedings. No questions asked.
I've gotta say, a trillion dollar lawsuit against the guy does not make it seem like he was wrong with what he said, it makes it seem like they are setting an example so other people don't look into it or question it.

Nobody expected Joe to grille this dude so hard that it made things uncomfortable. But to sit there and let Dorsey boldface lie like that is absolutely ridiculous. I remember this episode. This episode is also why Tim Pool came on and roasted Jack and vagina too and I still follow Tim Pool to this day so that was a good thing that came out of this.
Honestly, Joe is a people pleaser at the end of the day. When you are in charge of a space where people can speak and listen, i.e. communicate, you have the right and the obligation to moderate. That includes hate speech, inciting violence, harrassment, and so on. It really isnt controversial. But seeing your idol is Tom Peel I know you are an angry disenfranchised man and you want others to feel your anger. You are being misled to make the demagogues richer and you will only get angrier. Life aint fair and guess what, it wont be and whoever you victimise is just as bad off as yourself, but he or she doesnt take it out on someone else.
Joe Rogan and Alex Jones talking about the problem with conspiracy theories, is one of the most absurd things I've ever heard. Joe was talking like he had no clue that Alex Jones isn the king grifter of conspiracy theories and Alex Jones was talking like he, himself, isn't the king grifter of conspiracy theories. JRE is now the king dullard of right wing garbage talking points, who talks like he, himself, isn't a crucial entry point for the right wing podcast support network.
I think I know what happened here. so people often fly in early to do the show and sometimes its mentioned "when we were out for dinner last night you told me that..." or they talk about a guest showing up early and playing pool or trying out the archery range. so im guessing its likely these two got a chance to talk beforehand and Joe realized "this guy has no idea what was going to happen when he did this, its too much for him and hes just trying to look like he knows whats up". For instance I listened to a postcast of the woman who created "incels". she created it to help a bunch of people at her school get together and talk about their lives. then she gets a girlfriend and moves on, next thing she knows 40.000 people are calling themselves incels. Or the proud boys started as a joke. This guy started something that got away from him and asking him hard questions would just show how not incontrol this guy is.
This was before Spotify so he was keeping his options open. He didn’t want to burn the bridge and not be able to leverage twitter against other platforms in his upcoming negotiations.
During that whole escapade alex said joe was caught up in a CIA underage sex cult. And was the reason for him going silent on these subjects. Joe conveniently left that part out.And after that joe got him on the show real quick. Pepperridge farm remembers. Js

Have you ever seen what happens when his guests say Marijuana is bad? There is a lot of "kickback" from joe.

"Jesus told me to destroy joe rogan" absolutely killed me
I think I know what happened here. so people often fly in early to do the show and sometimes its mentioned "when we were out for dinner last night you told me that..." or they talk about a guest showing up early and playing pool or trying out the archery range. so im guessing its likely these two got a chance to talk beforehand and Joe realized "this guy has no idea what was going to happen when he did this, its too much for him and hes just trying to look like he knows whats up".

Tim was way more knowledgeable to ask Dorsey and that sidekick of his specific questions about specific instances of censorship.
