- In this video my off-road instructor teaches me the basics of off-roading. Do you think he was being to hard on me or was he being easy on me. I hope you guys enjoy the video. Let me know if you have ever experienced the traction control issue that I’m having.

bro was roasting u for no reason. seemed like he was over coaching and u didn’t need the extra help tbh
spotter was trash lmaooo no help at all
The first 3 wheel is always the scariest
Keep them coming! You did great!
Bro my not lifted taco would roll through that. Spotter was garbage. Bad ass truck!
Love the truck brotha
I have the same lift and tire setup. No issues with traction control maybe a sensor issue.
Lol 😆🤣 baby terrain bro you got this, nice job tho I was the same way first time…you don’t really need a spotter for this area lol
I have a 2019 Tacoma TRD pro; my traction control light only flashes when I have rear wheel spin on or off road
Had that same problem with my 6inch lift it's normal you just need to recalibrate the trucks sensors to account for the different angles the 6in lift gives. Lmk if you're still dealing with the issue
Here's decent instructions on how to reset the VSC system and perform a Zero Point Calibration using the paper clip method;
1) Park your truck on a level surface. Make sure the steering wheel is completely straight.
2) With the key off, disconnect the battery for a few minutes, then reconnect it.
3) Turn the key on, without starting the engine.
4) Grab your paper clip, and using the picture below, connect and disconnect the two terminals shown (CG and TS) four times within 8 seconds.
5) You should see the VSC light turn on. This means that all the calibration data has been cleared.
6) Turn the ignition switch offt dress see CyberCoders cc. TTC Dr ft ft.
7) Now take your paper clip, and connect the two terminals shown (CG and TS) in the picture.
8) Turn the key back on, without starting the engine.
9) After a few seconds, you should hear a buzzer sound for 3 seconds. After that buzzer stops sounding, Turn the key back off, and remove the paper clip.
10) Because you disconnected the battery, your radio presets will be lost, as well as the calibration for the Auto-Down function on the driver's window. To re-calibrate the window; simply hold the switch down until the window opens all the way, then keep holding the switch for a few seconds. Then hold the switch up until the window fully closes, and a few seconds afterwards. The same holds true for Tundras equipped with an Auto-Down back window, and Moonroof. Use the same process described in this step, until all items are re-calibrated.
That's it. The whole process should take about 10 minutes or less.
I didn't see the video, but what from the title says it's probably because you got a 6" lift. They don't really recommend 6" lifts; gives you more of a chance of rolling over versus a 3" lift.
What zize tires en 3" toyota tacoma 2015 265/70r17 is good terrain
Why'd you get a Sport instead of an Off road for off-roading?
Looked like fun ! Makes me want to take my taco off-roading . I’m looking at getting a similar set up . 6 inch lift with 35’s .
How’s your mpg man?
It’s about 18 mpg!!
@@The_Goon3r Did you re-gear?
@@The_Goon3r LIEEEE BRO LAMOOO MY STOCK GETS 15-17 21 HIGHWAY 2021 TACOMAAA
Lol that was your instructors fault you felt scared. He didn't guide you correct. He kept making mistakes. You did great.
Exactly. That dude wasn't even spotting. He was just narrating.
Why are you only using one hand to steer.
2nd gen doesn’t have that issue. I have been off-roading my 2006 with 6 inch lift for 15 years. If I have to do it all over, I wouldn’t lifted it that high.
Money on a front locker is money well spent, it'll take the roughness and choppiness out of those climbs.
It wasn’t installed wrong the tires with more wait and and size is enough to ping the sensor and tour chip thinks your losing traction because its not set for the bigger tires
Off-road experience does not make someone a good teacher or spotter. A good spotter would not have allowed that to happen.
Choppy on the gas
No disrespect, but you gotta be kidding me! Also, why cant you say left or right instead of " passenger" or " driver"? This makes no sense unless the driver doesnt know his left from his right, which in that case he doesnt need to be driving.
Taco
Keep them coming! You did great!
