- This is a large Solar Generator or Power Station that has a lot of pros and very few cons. I give it two thumbs up and feel that it is the perfect size to help you live off the power grid like when boating, camping, or during power outages for storms or other emergency situations.

Wow, what an incredible review! The AllPowers R2500 seems like the perfect companion for anyone looking to live off the grid and embrace a more sustainable lifestyle. Its compact size is so convenient, making it ideal for adventurers and sailors like us. Keep exploring and discovering new ways to be self-sufficient, and thank you for sharing this awesome review with the sailing community. Fair winds and smooth sailing! ⛵️🌊
Thanks. I love these things and having a couple of these on my boat with the additional solar from the folding solar panels have made life on board so much more enjoyable.
Nice review, as of this morning Amazon is selling this for $839 and the 400w solar panel for $379 which makes this the least expensive 2000w battery bank with solar. All the others I've been looking at (Jackery, Anker, Pecron 1500 and the other Anker) are all around $2K right now.
Thanks
16:14 Five thousand kilowatts? Count me in!! 😂😂
16:40 Twenty thousand kilowatts!! 😂🤣
On a serious note, kW and kWh are not the same...
I bought a R2500 in Oct 2023. So far no issues. I'm in Canada so its nice to see your review. I still can't get the wifi to connect but bluetooth is ok. The manual is basic and lacks some info. When ac is first turned on it comes up 50hz and within 10secs it changes to 60hz. The app also has a toggle to change HZ. Its very quiet even when fans are full out. Allpowers has a Markham Ontario warehouse where they ship from tax free to Canadians and they sell on Amazon. Allpowers told me for repairs they pay for all shipping to and return. They are a serious company but beware some owners have had issues with their stations and with getting Allpowers support. I've not had any issues with both of them. They sent me a free 200watt solar panel. So far the extra batteries are not available in Canada. I also bought a 30amp connector to a 110v regular 3 prong so I can use that output at home. Great view . Thanks
It is a good unit. Glad to hear it is working well for you
I recently picked up the r1500 to run my tv and dvd player during power outages..i havent had to use it yet but hoping it works for me..great vid..liked and subbed
Great. Hopefully, you have plugged them directly into the R1500 and seen how they work even if the power is on. Just fun to see how long you can watch TV with a DVD player running. I am sure it all depends on how big and how much of a power hog your TV is. If it is a 65", it better be a short storm. LOL
@@Bowmans-Woods that's the plan..I grabbed a small tv with built in DVD for it..hoping to put it to use soon
I enjoy your videos! Honesty in reviewing makes your channel valuable. As an RVer needing modest AC function , this would be a good unit . I would love to hear your current thoughts about the smaller Allpowers s2000pro . Has it been improved recently and what would be a current fair price considering the way lithium products continue to decrease in price ? A current review of the s2000 pro would be great!!
Prices come down on these all the time as batteries get cheaper and cheaper.
One beast power station...
It is a decent size, for sure.
What do you think about the fact that Allpowers stopped putting 30 amp receptacle on the Allpowers 2000spro ? Have you used the 30 amp receptacle? Has your 2000spro functioned well?
Great review thanks - just a question the solar input is that direct from the panels or does it need to go through a MMPT regulator ? i have 2 x 175W 9.5amp panels ...Thanks Anthony
The solar generators all have MPPT controllers built in. So straight from the panels is all you need
@@Bowmans-Woods thanks - I have issues with mine - stopped working just the fans on no screen - sent it back they replaced it - after one weekend away I have the same issue - fans on but no screen - no t urning on - I have tried letting it run down and recharging it but same thing fans come on but no screen or output - all I have going in is 2 solar panels 175w each going in - no draw ...any ideas why ?
How do you rate this ALL POwers item ( (R2500) compared to the Bluetti 200max?
Do a review on the allpowers r1500
I am more of a fan of larger Sol Gens. I get offered a ton of little ones from all sorts of companies to review but IMO if I can't run larger draw appliances on it, then I am not interested. Ones with just 500-600W of max output are just not worth having. Might as well spend a little more and have something that can put out 1500W or more.
Thinking about getting one with 400 watt panels to run a 8000 btu inverter ac on my rv. The gas generator is a pain in the ass as I have to get up in the night to turn it off. The sun is about 30 feet off from my rv but sure there are extension cords for the panels.
Ya. I try to minimize the use of my gas generator. Only if it’s non stop dark and raining will I use it.
Very nice presentation. Congrats.
I have a question, when you charge the R2500 with AC and let the cable plugged in, what happens when the device reach 100% ? It will cut off automatically the charge from AC or you have to do it manually ? TY
It cuts off once fully charged. You can leave it plugged in. I put mine on a timer so it only charges from AC when the price is low at night.
They should make something which can charge from alternator 30 to200 amp
Allpowers isn't selling the extended B3000 or the connection cable to be used with the R2500 in the USA.
You can get the B3000 only as a combined unit with the B3500. The cable isn't available by its self currently.
I am waiting for Allpowers to respond to as why this is here in the USA.
Well that is not great news. Must be a production issue? I don't work for AllPowers so I dont know why
How did it hold up using it with the rv plugged. I notice the S2000pro stave 30 amp max but this R2500 only has 25 amp max.
It works but not sure if it is giving out the full 30amp or just 25amp. I can live with 25amp. Only reason to even plug in via 30 amp is so that my boat's water heater will work. Otherwise its just easier to leave the Sol Gen inside the boat and plug normal things in directly
Have you ever reviewed an Anker SOLIX F2000 (PowerHouse 767). EVeryone says it's perfect - no flaws, and cheaper than competitors.. I wondered if you would disagree.
So. Anker reached out and I said I would review one of their Sol Gens but then they never got back to me. So, no I haven't
@@Bowmans-WoodsThank you for responding. I just ordered one, a couple of days ago, from Amazon (which has an amazing return policy) so I'm going to find out for myself. I watched about a dozen videos by critics and almost all of them claim it to be better than all the others. The only negative I can see upfront is that they are made in China, not a local big box store I can visit.
the allpower is 2099$ with 400 watts panel
OK
Is it possible to use a renogy 100 watt solar panel, i have 2 in series and want it to connect to this unit? The renogy: max power 100w,open circuit voltage 24.3, short circuit 5.21amps.. thnx anyone 🙂 greetings
Two 100 watt panels in series would give you the same as a 200 Watt panel. Should be good.
Thank you!
i can have a blluetti 200L for 2099$ CAD money, or the allpower R2500 with 400 watts panel. Which one would you take?
Blueti
EVEN IF I HAVE THE ALLPOWERS 400 WATTS AND THE R 2500 INSTEAD OF ONLY THE BLUETTI AT THIS PRICE?@@lansnico1
Sorry I dont have a 200L to compare
i dont mind having no wireless charging on top of the unit, i would put other things on top of it. i would also just charge via usb no wireless charging.
Ya, it is not a big deal. Just funny that they offer that wireless charging on cheaper models but then did not include it on this more expensive model. Wireless charging is just nice if you don't have a cord handy. Or if you have 1 cord but you have 2 phones that need to be charge. Just a nice to have feature.
I just got mine from Walmart with 300 watts of panels for 1370 tax included and free shipping
Great 👍
