All the actors carry the storyline forward and keep me at high interest and suspense. Christopher Pennock is very convincing as Dr. Cyrus. I completely forget how much I loathed him as Jeb. I like the way Maggie is beginning to assert herself but how far that will go remains to be seen. Quentin is still in charge! Whatever inconsistencies are ahead in the scriptwriting are something I will accept. I'm not a DS fan who seeks high art, literature and intellectual analysis of the storylines. I'm here to be entertained, taken away to a different realm. The show does that very well for me and that is enough. Thank you for bringing this all to us in lovely, high quality bite size segments.
It shows Chris' skill as an actor that you could so quickly forget him as Jeb. One thing to keep in mind is that the filming of House of Dark Shadows started at this time - that is why Barnabas is chained in the coffin. Maggie disappeared to go to New York probably so that she could film scenes. Quentin and Alexis are not in this movie (both are on Night of Dark Shadows) so we will see a lot of them.
@@darkshadowsfansunite8140 as much as I appreciate the videos thank for taking the time and effort for the fans and more importantly the kind replies 😘
Reminds me of the 1940s movie "Rebecca", with Joan Fontaine. The housekeeper loved/worshipped the late wife. Hated the current wife. Did things to set her up, etc. 🤔🤔
Me again. When I saw "Alexis" I was once again struck by how lovely Lara Parker was! It is sad to remember that she passed away last October! She was so very lovely! ~Janet in Canada
I remember like many other kids my age who first saw the parallel time aired. We all got fed up with it as it went on too long. We longed for Collinwood in its present time. This pretty much killed the series. So sad. What a great show.
I feel sorry for Maggie. Hoffman was sneeky and her so called apology isn't one. Daniel needs a spanking, and I'd fire that Hoffman woman. Oh dear, and I used to admire Julia Hoffman so much because of what she did for Barnabas. Professor Stokes was right, as these people in the parallel time are so different to the ones they resemble! Great storyline! TFS! ~Janet in Canada
Wow, there seems to be a lot of family feuds going on. Poor Maggie has a difficult relationship with Daniel. Quentin has a short temper. Also, Maggie feels there is a misunderstanding about Angelique's twin sister Alexis.
WHAT A STARTLING SUSPENSEFUL AND CHILLING STORY OF THIS PARALLEL REALITY RESEMBLANCE,YET DIFFERENT IN NATURE EPISODE!
I love how these little pieces you can put the story together , I love the time line stuff..
Thank you.
I absolutely just love Dark Shadows I own every single season and episode on DVD in a box set and I grew up with this show and just love it😇😇💕💕😊😊😊

The kids were great actors.

Thank you for helping us to make this connection.
It's very similar. Seeing as Dan Curtis did other things from literature makes me wonder if he was inspired by Rebecca 🤔
Exactly. DS has done, Dracula’s,several Poe Stories. Frankenstein, Rebecca…the list goes on
Sweet, lovely Maggie!!!♥
I feel so bad for her in this storyline.

Hoffman’s been watching a little too much Hitchcock.
I really enjoyed "Hoffman." She was a total b**** to poor Maggie, but Grayson Hall played her so well 😂
