I thought these weren’t real easing until the 1.21?
They made the armadillo spawn randomly as part of the animal mobs. But I can’t believe that they made the camel spawn only in desert villages instead of having them spawn commonly in the desert

BTW YALL THE OLD GROWTH PINE/SPRUCE TAIGA CAN BE DIFFERENCIATED BASED ON HOW THE BIG TREES LOOK THE PINE ONES ONLY HAVE LEAVES AT THE TOP
Exactly they look nothing alike one has practically naked trees and the other doesn't lol
wait no i think the pine ones are shorter and more fully leaved and the spruce ones are taller and leaved at the top

Putting armadillos to work against spiders in a mob farm actually sounds amazing.
Now i'm looking forward to more pets that'll make the rest of the enemy mobs flee. Dogs almost work for skellies, though not quite. And not much is spooking a zombie or witch.. yet.
Also, creepers dont like cats & endermen are drawn to endermites
@@itsv1p3r forgot about endermites. At least that's 3 mobs that can be filtered out of a general mob farm, with just other mobs. Kinda neat
Zombies are instead drawn to villagers
Same with witches
Endermen are drawn towards ender mites
And skeletons are infact afraid of all doggos
if endermites count for endermen, iron/snow golems count for most hostile mobs

The "striped wolf" is a hyena, but actually a particular type of hyena called the aardwolf! It eats ants, and they snuck in a stealth pun for people who recognize it (after all, it's a 'wolf').
Anyways , let's move on .

@@CorujaVerdeBSyou have no idea how much of a game changer it is. In bedrock you literally build a small bunker when at very low HP, and wait a solid 15+ seconds for health to regenerate, while in java it's like eating golden apple

Striped wolf also spawns in the wooded mesa biome as well as the wooded plateau
Hi silent I was wondering you say in the video the wolves spawn in the “wooded badlands” but the locate biome command doesn’t seem to have that listed as a biome. Is there another name I can search for this biome or is it just that command won’t work for this specific biome?
I know you ruled out the armadillo xp farm. Can you work on a dog xp farm then?
Oh thank goodness for a second when you mentioned the iron farmers in the thumbnail and title I got scared the form I used from your tutorial would have become useless, but thankfully that’s not what happened lol

Finally more dogs types (something I've wanted for years except from hardcore mode and another dimension) also side note is there news for hardcore mode on bedrock edition just wondering because it's been bothering me for a while that they haven't seen to mentioned any update for it yet
hardcore is likely part of 1.21. its already in betas:)
@@silentwisperer that's a relief because for the last 3 weeks I've been training for hardcore mode by playing survival on hard while using the rules of hardcore mode (I'm considering streaming hardcore mode when it comes to bedrock edition)
They also extend the block reach, its now 6 Blocks ON PC , not sure about other platforms.
Finally the update has been released and I had fun exploring the 1.20.80 update
What a wonderful surprise, can't wait to collect all the puppers and make a spider eye farm
Brushing armadillos drastically reduces the durability on your brushes, very quickly, after 10 armadillo scutes my unbreaking 3 brush almost broke on me, but doing a trail ruins i can clear the whole thing out and brush over 60 blocks? 🤷♂️
Edit: I just rangled them into an encloser with hoppers and carpets over them feeding into a chest so anytime they drop a scute on their own it just automatically gets collected
The striped wolf spawns in the oak forests in badlands, not the dead bushes.
Wooded Badlands is the biome that has oak trees & coarse dirt, and is where the striped wolf spawns.
my iron farm doesnt even spawn golems from the start..only cats

Hey silent I found a bug where you can't automatically craft a dispenser, you have to craft it manually on xbox for some reason.
throw the enchanted bows out of your inventory:) its to stop you using your main bow in the recipe

I've had the same problem with a bunch of fresh bows. Only able to craft one at a time
@@silentwispererseems fine on PS5 if that helps. Maybe an update or device issue.
Finally my spider farm is gonna be put to some use
*TL;DR:* I believe that the Iron Farm issue is _not fully fixed_ yet.
*Initial Trial:*
Removed/Replaced beds a few times. Iron Golems would spawn for a *short while,* only to _never_ spawn again until the next time I fiddle with the beds.
One test I did is that I would _keep the area loaded_ & the farm works as it should. Test relogged in the same area; works fine.
Another test (on a backup save), I _unload the chunks_ (i.e. exploring, caving, etc.) & returned; no golems. Even did a trial where I left for just a few seconds & came back; same result.

The difference between old growth spruce and pine is that they is more mossy cobblestone in pine than in spruce.
I guess for once my luck with always spawning in a world of warm biomes can finally pay off. I’ve been playing in a survival world for a couple years now and literally like the entire world is Savanna, jungle,Mesa or desert.

hardcore should be in 1.21
They should add cooldown for every 1 armadillo when brushing them, it's so OP.
The nice thing about the armadillo scutes is their probably one of the easiest items to have an automatic farm for because they will drop the item every few minutes
It’s a simple as this
Step 1. Build a pen.
Step 2. Dig out a hole underneath the pen
Step 3. Set up a bunch of hoppers leading to a chest
Step 4. Put up a mine cart track system with a hopper mine cart on top of the hoppers.
Step 5. Lead 2 armadillos into the pen and start breeding them.
Step 6. Craft a bunch of wolf farmer and profit.
Now, if you just breed a dog army, you can have an army of Doggos with armor on and unless it’s a creeper, you’ll never have to deal with hauling a bunch of weapons around again

So theoretically, we can line up armadillos and make spiders move faster than water, increasing rates in spider farms.
Any fixes for the raid farm? A system to push potion to the afk spot?
That's what I've been thinking, you'd probably need Allays to bring them up to you
@@212thbrit2 a simple 1 allay sorter that shoots into a water stream? Or would the water allow a raid to spawn in it? Maybe an old fashioned item elevator covered in leaves
@@creativeusername3408 my friend I have the answer, my raid farm has a soul sand bubble lift leading to the top of it. It has had no issues with anything spawning on it as long as it is properly spawn proofed. I have not made use of Allays yet myself however In theory you could definitely set something up along the lines of what you said

The changelog mentions that mob spawning will be chaing soon, hope it does not affect mob farms
It says in changelog:
"Added spawn categories to Bedrock. They will be used in the future for mob spawning. Spawn categories have been enabled in entity behavior pack files, but are not yet function"
its for the mob spawning changes i mentioned in a recent video. thats part of 1.21:)

FINALLY MY SPIDER FARM IS USEFUL
If you breed 2 black wolves in a tundra for example will the dog be a snowy wolf like how villagers work (based on biome) or like cats and have the parents colour?
I’m having a weird problem. I’ve updated to the latest version, but every wolf that spawns is a normal wolf. I’ve been to a taiga, giant taiga (“old growth”?), and oak forest. All 3 spawned normal wolves.
Edit: seems to a texture pack issue. My vanilla worlds spawn the new dogs no-problem.

His current shulker farm can be stacked. Enough of them in one chunk will beat the rates on basically any large farm

@@silentwisperer yeah so it's an anomaly, sometimes biomes generate incorrectly in really small areas or at the wrong elevation
Armadillos eating spider eyes make sense because armadillos irl eat spiders and bugs

You'd probably need to have an entire chest of brushes, probably all of them enchanted with unbreaking III for maximum output.

@MattTOB618 it's just less noticeable on the dogs who have the white coats. It's still bugged me, but it blends in so well it wasn't annoying. With the new tamed textures they pop out so much they look goofy

How to the breeding mechanics work?
So I may be completely out of the loop, but since the new update I can place blocks 4 down instead of the old 3 down.. is this like a random bug that is just the best type of bug or am I just out of the loop

With all the doggo love you've shown, I have to wonder why you ended up with cattos at home. lol
This update really can't be called anything other than 'of the doggo' considering it added all the woof types as well as a mob pretty much designed just to provide material to protect them. Not going to complain. Now I need to look around and see if there's a mod to give them better AI to allow for behavior other than 'follow me around' or 'sit', be nice to have them stay at home and protect it.

I tried fighting hostile mobs with my dog armies and one cat to scare creepers and one Allay that will collect items.
The only rhing is missing is the paw patrol towers and the vehicles used by dogs in paw patrol

Is anyone else having issues on realms where the new variant of wolves won’t spawn and you cannot put armor on them. I went to a grove biome to find the snowy wolf, and instead got a plains wolf every time one spawned.

I'd imagine the spawning, whether natural or from breeding, is dependant on biome, not the type of wolves being bred.
