The way Aditya kissed your hand when refusing to acept the money.... That was so damn cute, man. I felt pretty emotional there. That's a good side of humans that we don't see often, strangers loving strangers. So cool, man
Aditya is the name of her son but that's true, shocking to see something like that, so rare nowadays.

I love the shop owner who literally refused to take the money from Ryan 🥺❤️
That totally melted my heart, such a friendly and wholesome conversation that its amazing. Its great to see how other people connect like that and having good vibes all around while being very respectful. 😍
Yes she was amazing. But the other girl at the massage shop was shameless.
Same here. 😊. I'd love to know if Ryan had any contact with her son and the lady. I would be interested to know if they did or not because I'm nosey.😂😊
@@sal_strazzullohiya , yes I tottally agree with your comment. I thought she was a right cheeky mare!

Made me tear up.
indonesian are actually ranked top 1 as the most generoust country. they loved to help other people and very open. specially when i watch thier 90s movies. i feel like they are alien to me. because they act really different from us filipino. they are super dooper open like it's just so different and i love it because it's more humanly. it's how human should live. even when i watch thier modern experiment videos i can see how generous they are similar to ibuh idatya. and people like that are everywehere in indonesia...
Really you think so? When I was in phils I felt like they treated me in a very similar way like how the Indonesians are treating Ryan. People were generally friendly, open and even generous even when they did not have much themselves.
@@marajin i know how friendly filipinos are my friend because i am a filipino. i also want to tell you that being friendly and being generous are two defferent things. every humans are friendly and generous for sure. i didnt even mention anything about filipinos in my comment but i do not know how you reply like that. but i respect your respect towards filipinos. yes, we are very friendly and so is every everybody elese in this globe including you a non filipino.
@@adimardev1550 Ah maybe it was a misunderstanding of your comment. You said "They act really different from us filipino", I thought you are comparing Pilipino and Indonesian and saying that Pilipinos were not friendly and generous. Ayy sori kaibigan. Ingatz lagi.
Yes I really loved my time in the philippines. Most people were super friendly and kind.... ehh most. One or two try to take advantage because I am a foreigner xD But most were wonderful people with big hearts. They were even kind enough not to laugh when I had to crawl into the back of a jeepney like a baby because I am too large to fit in them normally 😂😂
@@marajin what can i say? if you really love to be there, sure i'ts good. yes i was comparing the two. but not of which one is best or generous. but rather thier differences in cultures. i just want to let you know that i'm not a filipino hater which some people mistakenly think i'm.
again i'm a filipino, though i love indonesia for a different reason. but this has nothing to do with the philippine.
trully i really don't like what's going on here. crimes, drugs and poverty are too high. very low GDP, and so much more. this is just my right as a filipino citizen and this must not be mistakenly taken as an insult.
and this has nothing to do with indonesia, japan, malaysia all of witch are countries i admire especially japan.
and glad you'd enjoyed our jeepney. i enjoyed and prefered it too over taxis. it's fun! 👍
@@adimardev1550 Well every country has it's issues. Yes drugs and crime are high in the phils, as it is in several countries, and the GDP is low. It's interesting to note phils was one of the wealthiest asian countries before world war 2 but it never really recovered well and why that came to be is not really my place to say, but the stated reason is down to politics.
During my time there I did notice a pronounced wealth gap.. You walk past porsche, lambourghini, ferrari dealerships and then see many people living with almost nothing. I could speculate part of the issue is also the filipino tendency to accept their fate. Many do not seem willing to fight injustices there and simply accept that it's their fate, "Bahala na". There will always be people willing to abuse power in any country and any culture and if the citizens won't challenge that abuse...
Drug use is generally a direct correlation of quality of life. Drug addicts are usually addicted because they are deeply unhappy and once they become a drug addict, it usually sets them on a path to more unhappiness and traps them in the cycle.
What I'm saying is, I understand your concerns regarding your country and the situation but it is sometimes easy to believe that things are much better and different in other countries when it may not be quite as much as you think. You have to spend time living in a country first hand to truly begin to understand the best and the worst of it. Many pilipinos seemed to have a very glorified view of my home country (The UK) because people don't normally talk much about the bad.
I lived in Bali, Indonesia for 6 years, and I have lived in many countries, hands down, Indonesians are the nicest people.
Better than Canadians? Would love to know what other countries you lived just for comparison.
Id like to go to Indonesia, but I want to know where they wear miniskirts in Indonesia O_o.
@@aoeu256Indonesian here, usually places with many tourists are most welcome with people wearing things like sleeveless shirts and miniskirts, like Bali and Jakarta!

You can't usually find this kind of vocabulary in online courses. Makasih banyak:)
Good luck with your study, hope you can visit the country someday

dan suka ngobrol dan bercanda.what needs to be learned in Indonesia is customary manners, ways of speaking and behaving. because we are always taught here since we were children, both at school and in the family
Came to this channel from the omegle shorts, but these travel videos are actually amazing!! Indonesia seems like an awesome country to visit!
I listened to BBC news the other day, and there was a reporter in Suriname, which was also a former Dutch colony. About 13% of population are Javanese. And many are politicians there. The Dutch brought workers from Java to farm the fields.
the dark side of colonialism
yeah that lady is wrong, not all of Suriname but only a few/ minorities. Some Indonesians really like to generalize everything (probably her source is based on invalid videos). They lack knowledge/only know a few since people don't speak English+don't really know/interact much with outside ( most of the indo people outside are blue col -lars/they sometimes give invalid-shallow info even the articles etc). They/netizens like to draw their own shallow conclusions. Kinda irritated
@@KimAhrina11 haha true, some people are kinda self-absorbed & cringe highly flattered themselves around here, don't know anything then generalizer+ make their own conclusions based on shallow things. That's why I never saw ome content from youtubers/indo creators in general, they make & give a lot of invalid videos/clicks baits for boosting their ego/self-esteem

that lady who is like "you can call my son" woww what an adventure this video is!
so cute she's looking out for her son to have some friends! ❤
Exactly!! she was so wholesome ❤
13:00 That lady is so kind, although she was tryna forcing a friendship with his son, maybe he travels a lot and she thinks he is lonely or something, pretty sure the son would be like like "..and who tf is Ryan" and never talk to you... I always found it really cringe when your mom tries to set you up with new "friends"
lmao, she genuinely care about Ryan's well-being by suggesting him to meet her son so her son could eventually help him incase Ryan needs it, and even told Ryan to be aware of pickpocket eventhough it's rarely happened in Indonesia. But I do believe every children would feel a lil bit cringed when their mom tryna set them up with strangers, it felt like sort of random family Tinder hook up, lol.
It's not always like that! As a child, I had really terrible social anxiety. If it wasn't for my mom helping me a little I would have probably never made any friends. lmao
Lmao I'm Indonesian and when I was about 5 or 7 I remember I got a friend in a playground and I tell my mom excitedly about it and it turns out that she actually paid the kid so that I won't be lonely:3
Man, what a labyrinth. Good job taking in the vibe and not losing your mind.
All the cheers and smiles when they saw your camera was so wholesome!!!
Really entertaining to watch you interact with Jakarta. It's a wild city for sure. Watching you speak so fluently is motivation to learn more so I can better understand my in laws. Keep it up!

These good people are just one example of why I love the culture and traditions of Asia, my heart is in the Phillipines. Of course we know Suriname! The history classes taught us about indonesian's migration during the colonial era, including to Suriname 🙂
@@LuqmanHakim- sad part is that our history here only teach us when Indonesian migrated here but does not explain why or how they came and the Javanese here are the most kind and friendly people in Suriname even when i ask the Javanese guys i work with about their history here in Suriname or in Indonesia they dont know because its never been taught here.
