I still remember the chills I got when my senior drill instructor told the entire platoon we won first place.
Plt 2098, 1973 won final drill
When did you graduate from parris island
@@ealonzo98 February 2016
I remember the chills when our SDI told us we failed
My SDI walked in after and was pissed we lost and got 2nd place and he slammed our knowledge trophy in the trash 😂😂
As one who served in the Army, I cannot give enough praise to the Marine Corps. You are the elite of the elite.
Yeah right 😂 you got paid to say that
@@iceyspicey4802 Do you get paid to do anything...
Oh my do I remember this...Final Drill was scary and awesome at the same time
Yup!! Did not want to fail my squad leader or my DI's that day....made sure to stay focused on all the lessons. Felt scared, but felt great when it was all over.
I graduated with Bravo Company Oct 8th 2021 💪
Bravo nation

Enjoy your new career.
Are those M16s with collapsible stock? Didn't know those existed in the US military.
I don’t recall doing or seeing aligning to the right with both arms extended; while at sling arms.
Timing off, excessive time to position, sloppy weapon handling, and slouched body stances.
But if they are like marines I encountered during my service, I am sure certain they will be hard hitters where it really counts…and that’s all that matters.
Well done young men…
I graduated PI in 94, and we had our shitbirds and pee pants then too. This was actually much more on point than I was expecting going into it. May be hope for us yet.
I promise you have no idea what you're talking about
Sorta new age military stuff. It was box tvs when I enlisted for full time duty.
Discipline the very thing missing from our current time. Very impressive unit !
It looks good, they aren't swiping at mosquitoes. Damn mosquitoes know they ain't gonna mess with jarheads during drill!!
3:56 👌👌👌👌👌😫💯

This must have been one of 3rd battalion's platoon lol.
my mans with the busted cover at 4:54 fix yourself
It probably got knocked off midway through. They’re not meant to fix it or move until a drill master tells them to or the drill master will come and fix it themselves. You lose points for moving.
What a bunch of boots
They are in Boot Camp, Dum Dum...
They look like heartbreakers and life takers.
Can't hear your boot heels, makes difference. Is 45 degree feet still a thing? 🤔
*Brasil acima de tudo!* 🔰
Ain’t no way I was on this video 😂😂
Everyday with tells or not tells
Tayed to comunicate with green berretes worked along with it be beautiful as ever looks like ure best it look like we should work togethers
Hello US👍👍👍💯
We need iched others
As a recruit in the last cycle of iron sights I can say this: Wtf is up with the acog(RCOs since I went right to ITB after) scopes in boot?? And retractable stocks on the m16-a4? Lucky ducks
Dude I graduated in 1992, full sized M16's iron sights. I think we would have busted all those scopes within minutes of receiving them lol.
Not sections
The style of the drill is sure different then when I was in the Marine Corps. It seemed to me that drill was alot more snappy and crisp in my day. I guess the difference might be I trained with a M-14. MCRD San Daigo plt 3091 Sept to Dec 1973 Semper Fi
Same...MCRD San Diego 1994 ...M16A2 is what we had
@@jay_man4_20 Didn't that drill seem slow?
It reminded me of when we first started learning how to March with cadence...the DIs started us out at a slower pace then after a week(ish) they started speeding the pace plus adding a rifle into the mix...half the drill in this vid is unfamiliar to me..but I suppose a new generation means new cadence and moves
@@jay_man4_20 Maybe I'm just old but that didn't look good. Marine Corps drill is suppose to look crisp and sharp and that was neither. The title for this " Final drill" Maybe the final drill after the first day
@@4threconmarine In 1973, we were at war then and our drill was sharp
From Bangladesh
Final drill?, wasn't a Makita, so must be "dearly beloved we are gathered here today to remember the live of..."

Very bizarre
That senior is awful with the sword
All the same
The Army is awful now. At least the Marines look to still have some military qualities in it.
My god, they made them wear masks during basic when covid was going on? Smdh
Those fucking masks 😢😢😢
Cringey masks
They look sloppy. I hate to sound like an old timer, but we much more hardcore and crisp, in the early 2000s. Maybe we were just super patriotic after September 11th.
Another thing, these platoons are getting much smaller. Less and less people joining, and of the people wanting to join, few are truly qualified, be it physical or mental.
I’m still proud though, I just hate to see the decline. Wokeness, politics, (Barack Obama brought a lot of that crap in, mostly) started the decline about 10-15 years ago.
Just graduated a few days ago. The platoon sizes are back up now. In the beginning of the cycle every company was at max capacity. The marines is the only branch that met recruiting goals this year too.
@@jvangerud9186 Congratulations, Devil Dog! Make us proud!
@@Jaxxon123 Thanks. But yea they do look sloppy and not and fast. Our senior Drill Instructor would always emphasize that we need to have speed and aggression with the rifles during drill. In the video the rips were lazy at times. And they was smacking there feet instead of there heels
看到姿態誇張口令怪異的帶隊官穿著小牛皮鞋,動作呆板機械式的阿兵哥穿著支那製造的軍靴,林北就知道這是一支外強中乾的烏合之眾。
