That big bream would be great steamed with ginger, shallot and soy! Or even in Canh Chua Ca!! Got my TD Sol MQ 4000 today. Just got home from testing it out. It’s smooth as! Only caught 2 big tailor using a salmo slider.
Walking down to Darling Point to see if I can pick up a jewie on a 5” Zman DieZel MinnowZ in ‘Gold Rush’ plus S Factor. Brought Chug Norris along too just in case!
What a session! New gear is on fire! It seems like you have way better hook up rate than me recently Yesterday I missed around 6 to 7 bites without a proper hookup, my set hooking technique is probably a bit faulty.🤔
@@ShroomFishingYeah, yakkas have very small mouths, I also struggling to hook bream but I think either the fish is small or my 1/8 ounce jig head weight being too heavy.
Sup brother I'm sure that was the night I came off da ferry & recognized you I ws big in white that came up to you😜 Leeesssgggooo 🔥 hope all is well tho bro...
Hey shroom what’s the name of the second wharf you went to I was looking at going Ajing next week and I don’t know we’re to go. Loved the video would love to see more like this
@@ShroomFishing yeah good fun the Jackson micro squid or whatever they are called it’s a 1.5inch squid imitation work well on them got a 47cm yakka on one last week
Ryan, I wanted to use a common braid most people are using or have used to better understand it as I often use expensive obscure braids and couldn't relate. Also I think an expensive reel helps with longevity of braid too so I'm testing that theory
Hey shroom I see your fishing in Balmain east around my area. Just a suggestion someday try out mort bay warf. Me and my mates landed a kingfish there the other day and there is some flatties on the sand banks and lots of trevalley and bream Edit: wait was that mort bay???
You know old fisherman would use starfish for bait for Snapper & Grouper in the 1930 depression & bag out on them , anyway i have FD Sahara 500 that i use for Ajing for Yakkas i use 2 lb polyester line works great...
Yes Rabih, I don't what happened to all my big text in this video because I have it here in the preview. I meant to say stradic, my saragosa is too big for this kind of fishing
Bro I was squidding with an expensive setup and this random guy comes up to me and said I’m “driving a Ferrari in a carpark” and starts laughing at me. Man I got cut. Different people have different passions. Different people have different earnings and expenses. Someone else smokes cones and goes to the pub and gambles. Let the guy have his $1,000 reel and catch yakkas bro. 🤣 ✌🏽
@@ShroomFishing Daiwa is a quality product. It’ll last a lifetime if you look after it. I’ve still got my Daiwa minicast super ultralight spin cast reel that my dad brought back from Singapore for me back in 1979. 2nd Grade and we sang ‘God Save the Queen’ at school for the national anthem. The fishing was amazing back then. And no fishing licence. And no gun licence. We used to walk along the bank and shoot carp with our .22s and nobody would care. Remember not to let sand in that reel, Shroom! 😉
Love these little finesse fishing videos around Sydney. Cant wait for you to post more of these
Thanks Baxter
I love these videos shroom Sydney Harbour wharf fishing keep the videos up Shroom
Thanks Christopher! These are pretty fun

Always nice to Christian new gear with a quality fish👌🏻 nice 1
I couldn't have predicted it and a bream that size goes hard always!
Nice one. Best night time video I’ve seen! ✌🏽
Thanks NPG! Had to make up for having a non fishing video last week!
Nice work, Once again.
Stay Safe with the wild weather you guys are having over the ditch.

All the best mate
Fancy gear man, great job, i’m going to come across you one day in Sydney, don’t forget to say hi LOL
Thanks and make sure you do!
Another sweet night drop vid mate, it's been a shit summer to do anything but hope when it dries up you catch some pisser's more often 👍

Just watched it mate . Haven't fished with bait for years ! Great breambo . 👍🎣🇦🇺
Thanks David, as always a video every Thursday if I can manage! That breambo caught me by surprise and the drag was silky smooth even when high
Nice video shroom. Thanks for the nice video

Nice one Dave! That's a killer combination. Have you had much success out that way?
Nice bream mate. Topwater more often than not gets the quality bream for sure.
All my best ones have been on top.
Thanks Niall! I've found the same, they haven't quite wised up to it yet!
What a session! New gear is on fire!
It seems like you have way better hook up rate than me recently

Thanks Lucas and it can be hard to hook yakkas, I get way more bites than hook ups always

surley by now someone hsas mentioned the hcf add to you nice video cheers
Haha nope
Yeww another estuary video 😁👌
the best!

Congrats on the new reel
can I have a quick explain why are you using X4 not X8 or X12 line
Thanks EL - hajj, I just wanted to use a common braid a lot of people are using to understand it
@@ShroomFishing have you notice does affect your casting distance?
I was wondering the same thing
Where is that second warf

Hey Taina! Yes I remember haha, that was cool! Lesgooo! Might see you there again some time 😎👍
Man all these ppl don’t realise there walking past THE ONE AND ONLY SHROOM!
Haha thanks Nicc!
Well my friend I genuinely think you've managed to capture a worlds 1st on camera.! A starfish munching on a live squid.... That ain't normal. 🤔
Haha Andrew I was gobsmacked! That was the weirdest thing in the world and I was uterly confused but it made for an interesting night!
I got coast fishing what could be a lure that will kick ass ?
large diving hardbodies would be quite effective like Rapala X raps
Mate I’m new to the game was wondering were this place is so I can have a go too 😜

Any wharf with green water right now is a good one for Ajing. I'll try to do more Elias
@@ShroomFishing thanks shroom 👍
What spot was that last night at?
You should check out the Ulladulla harbour yakka an Average yakka is about 30-40cm
