njbrabbs if u don’t slow down while going out of the water you’ll overspin ur props even if it’s just for a couple seconds. So no it’s good to slow down
I mean its his boat and he can drive it any way he wants, but..... why constantly in and out of the throttles?? It's not going to ride or handle any different over the wakes than keeping a steady hand on the throttles.
If the props come out of the water the engines could over rev and that could be expensive. If you'll watch offshore racing you see the same thing except one guy steering and another is the throttle guy
@David I've had plenty of boats in big waters... not waves "Dumb Fuck". Waves are what rolls on to the beach from the ocean, ya know, like when people ride surfboards on them. Best to keep your simple-minded comments to yourself.

Guy just needs to let the throttle be. Slowing up just makes it worse when hitting waves.

Not true, with those engines (and much much they cost) they have rev limiters for a reason) Not going to over-rev anything.
