"In death there are no accidents, no coincidences, no mishaps, and no escapes. Your friend's departure shows that death has a new design for all of you. By walking off the plane you cheated Death. Now you have to figure out how and when it's coming back at you. Play your hunch, Alex. If you think you can get away with it. But remember the risk of cheating the plan, of disrespecting the design... could initiate a fury that would terrorize even the Grim Reaper. And you don't even want to mess with that MacDaddy. What you have to realize is that we're just a mouse that a cat has by the tail, every single move we make from the mundane to the monumental, the red light that we stop at or run, the people we have intimacy with or won't with us, the airplanes that we ride or walk out of, it's all part of Death's sadistic design. Leading to the grave. I'll see you soon." - Bludworth

Not too long ago, about a year or two ago, I had talked with Tony in messages back and forth about amazing ideas of characters he could play from historical, supernatural and interesting true life stories, For instance, the story of Robert Johnston, a musician that was a legend for being an extremely horrible musician, that one night made a deal with the devil at the crossroads at midnight, from then on seemed to have possessed a mastery for playing guitar. But met a supernatural kinda fate. Tony had liked the idea alot and knew of the person in the tale because his interest in old blues. But insisted he looked too old for the character, he had reconsidered the idea when i said "Adaptations can give wiggle room on some things as movies re-write some details" also suggested some other ideas tomdo with that script idea. Tony Todd was one of those people that were humble and would talk to nearly anyone that sparked interest, and was very interested in the arts. Its is a shame his passing, he was a artist in many ways, humble, eger and really had such a wonderful presences nomatter the role or portrayal. He will be missed.

@@BlueprintGB-gz5qqI watched the first one and the prelude during the last days of October 2024 , honestly despite the success of the first sequel, I wasn’t very interested by the others ones.
@@rafaelarcas942 I watched 1-2. They were streaming all of them on AMC or smth but 4 basically 1-3 & 5 fell asleep after 2. Also, seen Night of The Living Dead for 🎃season.
@ When I said that I wasn’t really interested it was not only because 3 and 4 lacked of connection with the first one BUT mostly because those ones didn’t have the same sinister good written aspect of the first film, they seems overly and excessively violent only for shocking values combined with 3D used back then when it was a commercial effect. As for the last one who turned to be a prelude, there was some good sinister dark aspects . As the much as I loved the first one that doesn’t seems like a traditional “slacher movie”, that franchise was over exploited until no one wants to watch just like AMC did on “The Walking Dead” or even the FOX with “Alien” before that it was owned by Disney ( let’s hope that “Alien Romulus” and the recent Marvel comics can save that franchise that seemed doomed after “Covenant”).
