When I went from autumn to winter colors there was a very obvious improvement. But true winter seems overpowering. I get the sense that make up and colores need to be a little translucent, not too muddy or saturated. What would that narrow it down to?
I did a face to face colour analysis and apparently I'm bright cool winter. I have hazel eyes light brown hair freckles but I'm light skin and when I tan I'm a nice golden colour. I do dye my hair blue black for over 20 years. The colours that I got given I love but I feel like they are too much on me and feel tacky? Could it be possible the lady got confused by my blue black hair colour and judged me a bright cool winter when maybe I'm not?
I am a true summer. When I wear black, all color leaves my face and hair. I look drained, tired, unhappy. I try to compensate by wearing more make-up, but black just makes my make-up look blotchy, and as hard as I try to blend it, it just won’t blend. I just have to get rid of all my black. I’m working on it…
I love how your skin glows up next to bright colours; but in my opinion black Is too much for you. I think you are light Summer because It s true that gray for you Is best than black, but your skin needs some brightness more.
So black is only for True Winters? Then what about Deep Winter, Cool Winter or Bright Winter? What is their "black"?
I heard a cool brown-black is good for deep winters and dark charcoal black for bright winters
Thank you!
I’m so glad Carol guides us through these posts. I think right now I have just enough information to confuse me. I’m a fashion disaster.
Would the difference be evident in the other winter subtypes as well, just not as strong compared to other seasons?
