ETFs are certainly the easiest way to do business for the reason you stated but also Because so many of the comparison tools out there will compare ETFs one to another but does not include mutual funds
Great video. If the mutual fund is not in a current taxable account, e.g., 401k, hsa, Ira, etc…. Then you don’t need to take into account the constant trading “capital gains”. But in the end I like ETFs way better.
There are two mutual funds that I would love to convert to the corresponding ETF but any corresponding ETFs do not have the same track record FBGRX and FSELX are great mutual funds that I have however there is nothing better out there than they have been over the years They both have high expense ratios but more than make up for that in performance So if you know of comparable funds in the same category that are ETFs please let me know because I have searched the marketplace over and over and nothing comes close to these two in those categories
