- Welcome to Paul and Tim Do a Thing!
Paul from Ashen Phoenix and Tim from Capes And Scowls have been doing comic book reviews for 5 years. They can't be more different though. So they thought, let's let everyone in on the conversations about how different they are with music. And welcome to this channel!

They are a national treasure for sure. They started 2009, so the first generation of Hevisaurus fan kids are already around 20 years old. I remember when my niece (now 13) and nephew (now 16) were at that age and they watched the Hevisaurus DVD over and over again, dancing and jumping in the living room. Many of their songs are fun and exciting for kids, but also have deeper meaning in lyrics. And of course the instumentals are very much professionally made, so it's not like it's dumbed down for kids.
That makes it a lot easier for the adults to also listen, compared to the more simple kids music, like Baby Shark. Let alone compared to the Frozen phase and the endless Let it go 🥶🥴. I still listen to Hevisaurus every now and then, even though the kids have moved on to adult rock and metal 🤭.
The video actually has subtitles, so you could understand what they're saying.
They didn't mention Satan, but he said something about making a vegetable soup with 6 carrots, 6 celeries, 6 bell peppers and seitan.
Yeah, just click the CC button on UA-cam player to turn on English subtitles for the song. They were indeed singing about recipe for a food and seitan pronounced in Finnish does sound a lot like English pronounciation of Satan - and that was most definitely not an accident. I think it might be possible to write a lot more lyrics that sound one thing when listened as Finnish and another meaning when listened as English.
The Hevisaurus band is actually playing and singing on this, so this is not a recording. They do a lot of live shows. These guys are theather actors/musicians, who loved and played metal music. They have been forming this group to make rock and metal songs for kids, with unifying, caring and educational themes. The reason for plenty of guest players and singers in this performance, is simply because this is their song number 100.
Unfortunately there is no subtitles version of this yet.
This is a special song though with all the guests. Seen them a couple of times and they are great live!
In Finland, music education is taken seriously...
The Finnish education system is heavy!
@@haukionkannel Poor kids 😆 This is the way how they learn to believe they are the happiest citizens on the earth. - Seriously talking, it is good to teach there are all kind of music genres.
the video you showed was about the 100th song of them.
That should answer some of your questions.
Love the bit @3 mins where Paul scares away the car-jackers with his patented "Stink-Eye" glare👹
That song that you listened was there 100th song
They have done that for like 12 or 13 or 14 years
They talked about Seitan as ingridient of food xD, It sure sounds like Satan to my Finnish ear too xD
LOL
I just watched this today and actually tjere is english subtitles...
I just noticed you never done a steam power giraffe reaction
wtf is happenig
I was going to Hevisaurus Cruise with my kids at least twice, maybe three times, they love the stuff.
It is nice, heavy fun .
"Hail Satan!", but not really. Really. (I'm still laughing about the seitan/shaitan -vegan thingy...)
