NARROW ESCAPE - our narrowboat life adventure. In this episode we set off from beautiful Barrowford and tackle the 7 locks ahead of us before popping up the Leeds and Liverpool Canal towards Burnley. We have to say it really doesn't impress with all the weed, litter, junk and general detritus in the canal. Numerous trips down the weed hatch are required and the locals lob insults for fun! Is this the worst canal town in the country? Either way, we can't wait to get out of here!!
