"im not british.. im an american" ehmm funny story about america, BRIT
Dude is not even letting her finish. Annoying. Damn
I can watch this interview a billion times and the insult she does about parents and kids living together always cracks me up
Miriam is such an adorable and positive person. Keep smiling.
He asked her if it is ok for older children to live with parents in a sarcastic manner..🙄 boy.did she give it back😁 what is got to do that with her or the movie, anyways???
She handled him good , that's what you get when beauty and intelligence are combined. He was trying to provoke her to get some good TV out of it but her responses were perfect. She is strong and confident.
She is not only beautiful but also intelligent and smart.
That idiot was trying his best to roast her constantly.. she handled it pretty well..
No I think he actually was condescending, probably because he just doesn't realize how big of a star she actually is and how many billions of people in the world watch bollywood. If you really respect your guest and their work you would have asked different questions. All his questions were based off of prejudices Americans have against Indians. He could have asked how her Cannes experience for her was, he could have asked more about her experiences with other language industries because she speaks so many languages, there is enough to be interested in about her..
This was in the early 2000s. People's mentalities have changed a lot over the years now.
No it hasn't . Most westerners still think India is a land of snake 🐍🐍 charmers
@@discover310 yup 😂😂😂

He’s asking a lot of Close ended questions. Not a good skill for an interviewer. Definitely nervous or having presumptions. Unconscious Microinsults.
Can we have Miriam permanently on this channel??
Her vibe is Amazing.. and also until Achara returns, she'd be perfect 😍😍
What amazing she said this is so pretty even before Aishwarya came in. 😂
Not only we have plenty of languages but plenty of dilects and plenty of scripts. Its not just about bird sounds 😂. They are all well defined grammar based written languages with each comprising of deeper cultural influence.

It is quite ironic to see we Indians watch an american react to a situation where another american is shamelessly belittling our culture! #shame
So true Jaby, being in Europe and having the best of best conditions etc , we Indians miss home and our people whom we hated once ;)

Is it common in India for older children to live with their parents ?
Indian : yes coz it's our turn now, we're just repaying what they did ! It's better than making plans and schedules to meet ur own parents !

Letterman is so smart, he can control an entire room with his mind have 3 different conversations simultaneously.
If he was coming across as condescending but you can't discern why it was because he was trying to.
He just hides so well it slips across your radar.
@Neo ? I'm saying he is trying to be rude. That's not an excuse
@Neo Letterman is without a doubt quick witted, and he gives off an impression of being smart, at least to me.
I don't think he is outwardly rude, it's actually very difficult to tell. It's not blatant at all.

Legend has it Supriya is still emailing Jaby everyday to react to this video.
Seriously, where is Supriya's comment?
You must realise INDIA is 10000 yr old ancient civilization. The west wants to put their western template on india. India will always be a rich culture that will never die. Look around the world how many countries are like india. All are westernised and cultures forgotten.
I,as a hardcore Aishu fan,I was thoroughfully delighted ;) Thanx yo the email lady! ;) You should react also to Aishu on Oprah-alone,and together with her husband,Abhishek Bachchan ;)
We stay with our parents , because when we were kids they took care of us .... so we owe it to our parents , it's our duty to not make them live lonely without their kids... We love to live with our mom & dad & our grandparents , we love the protective environment... it's how we Indians / Desi / Brown people are.... I guess Arabs would agree too... we love the noise... we don't want to leave our parents alone when they grow old & weak.
