He just broke it again (6.25m)!
(6.26)
Dafuq this guy is flying 🪽 what a friggin legend
6.24 meter. What in the world is hi from 😳
That distance between him and the bar is just crazy
He will end at around 6.31 at this rate😳 This dude is not human
Indeed. It looked like he cleared the bar with substantial room to spare.
Thus dude been vaulting for 20 odd years now - practise makes perfect
Scary that he's already the GOAT and his not even close to 30. He's going to elevate the discipline
He's not even 25
It just makes sense. He'll be great till 28 and then he'll decline after that. 25 is the prime age for this kind of sports
he's like 24...
@@talkingtofu Pole Vaulters reach their peak around 28/29 years of age.
@@liag.350 They start to be good when they are 24.
He can easily go 6.30m
Yep, he absolutely can, but he'll go 1cm at the time, because they pay him the big bucks every time he breaks the world record 😂
@@nicolaspietrangelo5573Facts,I would do the same considering how low track and field pays compared to other sports
> "He can easily go 6.30m"
Easily? No, he's never going to do that, his best will stay below 6.30m
@@MichaelDomer He literally vaulted 6.29m here -_-
He can improve 1cm
Ya.. Agreed..
When you see the space left here, between 6.25-6.30m is quite possible for him.
A former teammate was a polevaulter at Oregon. He said speed down the runway was the most critical factor in polevaulting. Duplantis has run an open 100 meters in 10.56.
yep pretty much
Ännu en gång visar du hur fantastisk du är, helt suveränt, stort grattis! 👍😎😃
He was well over too. Amazing athlete.
This guy is on another level.
…and he did with quite a bit to spare! The one and only best in the Mondo Duplantis :)
I wonder how high he can jump, really! He is a true Champion! 👍🏿👏👏👏
wow unbelievable he’s not human
Do one thing for 20 years and see the results
This man duplantis is unreal ❤
42cm cleared height difference with the silver medalist. Overwhelming presence 🔥
best jump of all pole vaulting
Thank you Sherlock for explaining what the meaning is of a world record.
@@timn4481im dead 😂
@timn4481 Not really. Since the WR really only means where the bar is when he jumps, one of his earlier jumps could have been a better and higher jump. There are a few that were of similar height, but this one is probably the best so far.
I meant from a technical standpoint, it was impeccable; perhaps when he reaches 6.25 meters, even though it will be a new world record, he won't jump as well as he did here.
@@FrankBeat He is trying out new poles and stuff though, and he's still getting faster. We'll see if we see a better jump before the bar is set at 6.30!
非凡的表现,恭喜,下周六带女儿去苏州,期待!
I wonder what he believes he can actually hit. 6.40 maybe?
He's not even close to 6.30m....
@@MichaelDomerhey fuckhead he is 0.6 away from 6.30 stop the continusly hate
@@MichaelDomerpiss off weirdo
Next level 🦾
It's looks so easy😍 unbelievable
Believe me, I did it at school. If you are not a good gymnast- forget pole vaulting
The others only play for the silver. They're so behind him, it's unbelievable. I think this kind of distance has never happened before.
Height,I would say.....
@@martintheron1386 I meant distance from the best player to the others. Difference in their skills.
True!
Tbh not really, sergei bubka was similarly far ahead of all the other, probably even more tbh
@@matuskriska8361 You’re right, Sergei Bubka was another Goat. But I don’t know who was more ahead of.
He has a few more records to go.
I’m a pole vaulter (not a very good one yEt) and I really wish I could talk to him to see if he ever had extremely frustrating lack of progress, because that’s me right now, I’m stuck.
Duplantis' status in the world of athletics seems elevated
a. Duplantis mieux que "spacex " , lui il atteint les étoiles
And again he broke his own record
Champion 🤍🤍
My man Obiena is off by 20cm
pinoy? lol
6.30 is doomed this summer! G.O.A T!!!
Nope, 6.27 is the highest he'll ever do in his career.
Hater replying to every comment
@@MichaelDomerobjectively wrong
Mondo, at 6.30?
Okay,YES IT THIS !
@@szymon6207 Never
He broke it
Красавец 👏👍
Serious question... Isn't there a max? I mean the pole is a certain height right?. There must come a point you cannot get over.
No, you can have as long poles as you want. But the longer the pole, the faster you need to run and you’re technique has to be flawless to be able to handle the speed and the length of the pole. It’s an art really to be able to do what mondo does.
Your pole can be as long as you want but the longer it gets the faster you have to be and the harder it is to control
@@tonyweseth7603then let’s get Lyles out here
@saturn7835 even with his speed he ain't even clearing 5m
MONDO “WORLD RECORD” DUPLANTIS
Great
He can co 8 meters
yeni bir Usain Bolt umuz oldu. hayvan herif 10 santim fark koymuş 6.24 e.... :)
This guy will vault 6,30m
No, he won't.
@@MichaelDomer yes he will
dis guy is an elite human
He will be relishing the $50,000 for Olympic gold. However, Diamond League even more lucrative
Who is here after he best his own world record with 6.25m in olympics 2024 🎉
Average Hater: White Man Can't Jump
Mondo: I took that personally
No pun intended, Mondo did not jump with his stiffest pole here. He may reach 6.40.
crazy amount of confidence to do this the same year as the Olympics
It's amazing. Well done 👍👏
Best wishes on your journey
He can 7 metres 😮 !!!
fa un altro sport
Bueno salto
6,30 top
635
Amazing ! 😮
That’s my boy❤❤🎉
Amazing 👏
Still Swedish news haven't reported about this huge success
Thanks youtube
Yes they have they reported it live and I saw it on their pages less than 5 minutes after the world record.
who is bubka? :)
Adam Małysz wyżej skakał
Это у них шесты такие, надо их проверить...😢
They should measure the actual height and that should be counting. Not what the bar is set at. They could do that with electronic sensors and video. Asof I think they actually have this at 6.26m.
Ummm, no. Him breaking it by a çm every time is money in his pocket. Pole Vaulters especially take advantage of this. Doesn't matter if he can clear it by 6cm right now, he gets a cheque every time he raises it by a cm. Gotta get paid.
@@omarholder9036 That's a good point. Anyways, this jump is higher than the record says.
You can see the measurement in the right-bottom corner. 6.29 m, 5 cm over the bar.
@@dzikirysio997
*_"You can see the measurement in the right-bottom corner. 6.29 m, 5 cm over the bar"_*
Nonsense, it's impossible to see, pure wishful thinking on your part, and his upper legs was rather close to the bar on the way down, not to mention... who the f8ck cares what the gap is.
@@timn4481
> "yeah and years ago it was around 6.40."
You're living in fantasy land.
Did he win the contest?
Yes, by like 42cm or something
No, he broke the world record and ended up in 4th place.
