Super cool and fun demo. Idk where I pulled a half hour from to watch this but it felt like a 10 minute demo haha
Thanks Mike and crew (yeah. right.) for the upload. Gives me a new project to try.
No worries, good luck!
My son and I were both in that class, sitting right next to him in Las Vegas in 2019. Andrew is incredible! Very talented and a very good instructor. If you get a chance I highly suggest taking one of his courses.
Awesome demonstration!! Really appreciate you sharing! 😊✌🏻
Thanks for the upload.
Fo sho, stoked to share!
@@GlassCentralStation Much appreciated!!!
Very nice piece brother as always great content!
Nice work.
You make it look so easy...that's how you know it's not. Thanks for sharing this trade show on UA-cam.
So good!
Whats the minimal home setup to work boro? You need an oxy/propane torch?
You do
Amazing channel wtf❤❤❤
D'aww thanks
I want to get a torch so badly... I've been watching glass working videos for a couple years now.
sick
Was that kid on his phone the whole demo?
Sure sign of someone who knows it all. ;)
I used to have a little pink octopus made like that . Over the decades he slowly became a monopus though
Heh! Someone could have repaired him for ya, added some new legs. Would be kind of cool to have one made that way.
thank you i was doing the eyes wrong lol
could i use this to make my own lab equipment
Yes, most lab equipment is made on the torch with the same type of glass used in this demo, borosilicate.
As he hates his glass rod he dips it in a glass to his right that appears to have a powder in it can anyone tell me what this is?
He’s dipping in frit. Basically powered glass but particles can vary in size and it tends to leave a speckle look vs using solid colored glass.
Wow actually good intro music for a yt vid.
Definitely doesn't look like the same piece as the thumbnail. Did this one not survive the kiln, or what?
Stock picture of a different piece.
I was bummed to not see the final piece.
How's his hand not on fire?? I get like 5 inches from the face of my Redmax and my fingers are toast XD
Have you ever made chess peaces ?
Too bad this wasn't the one on the thumbnail.
The torch is soooo fucking bad for your eyes get a filter for your lense
That footage does have a filter, an Aura which works great. You'd not be able to see anything through the orange flare without it.
So no one is going to say anything about that amazing octopus shirt !!.
