    I can see why Mas Oyama incorporated Muay Thai kicks into Kyokushin. Low kicks are OP.

    How are you guys able to trade shots like that and someone not lose control? I can never get sparring like this in without someone getting pissed

      probably down to the experience and sparring with each other for many years and understanding everyone is learning. but most gyms experience that mostly with new guys

      yeh the teep would be nice some rounds you dont see they work on different things, i usually put in the most active rounds in terms of exchanges

    Most mma fighters cannot spar like this its good for kickboxing but us mma fighter need to use more distance and movement

    I hate big gloves they block punches so easy ...
    I prefer smaller gloves game changes with them punches are much harder to block

    How affective is this from a learning stand point just covering up letting your opponent hit you no defense?

      it can train you to form a tight guard and protect your core, also get you used to incoming fire and not freak out getting hit. But like anything, i would mix it up and experiment with all types of defence.

      @@luiscastaneda-oc2dw It's not good, guys get used to just covering up instead of using footwork and head movement. Spar like the gentlemen in the orange shirt, he was always moving, trying to avoid getting hit. Standing still in front of your opponent is a great way to get knocked out and is a terrible habit that you should never emulate.

    Amazing sparring, but why don't you guys put some head gear on?
    Dont wonna sound like a smart ass, but the power of the headshots seems too much. It may be bad for your health in the long run.

      @@ntkkvolos Head gear dosen't protect your brain, just your face. Your brain still receives the force of the blow and hits the inside of your head. Thats also the reason they stopped using headgear in olympic boxing.

    a lot of shelling up and countering, taking unnecessary shots that can be avoided with more footwork & head movement. great video though

      Any hits to the head aren't good for you but this is solid, controlled sparring.

      there is always risks in combat sports as well as many other sports.
