I've learned a lot from these videos. My sparring technique has always been defensive and backing off a lot. Recent spar sessions I have gone in close with a tight guard and have i been more effect in landing puches and kicks. Once I realised I wasn't made if glass it gave me whole lot more. Thank you guys. Keep up the good work.
Looks like a war but isn‘t. They always go forward and counter directly but I don’t know if you notice that they does the punsh to the head with fifty percent power but the kicks with full power. I think its a lot better and healthier at all.
thank you, that means a lot. i am ready to smash 2021 with amazing content, just need travel to ease but i will still keep trying to do my best to put things out during these crazy restrictions.
It’s been a while since I last saw Andre Winner. Didn’t know he was still active. He and Ammari had a good round. Looks like Lee picked up a spinning back kick from Dean.
this is so beautiful to watch. I'm a woman doing kickboxing and I suck at deflecting punches and overall guarding myself, but I feel like I'm learning something from this videos :D
Depends on your perspective i suppose but its pretty much the title of the series some rounds harder than others. The beauty is you see each week how it really is the ups the downs the bad training days, the good ones etc
Them punches and kicks where not exactly soft,You can see the respect from all fighters they all know they are sparring with people that can hurt them so they know when to go for it and also when to back off a touch
Nice Video! I love your Sparring sessons. :P I have a question. Has anybody an ID of the "Top King Shinguards" in the first Sparring? I would take them and I have no which modell :D Thank you very much!
Dnb on too, absolute legends. I see this gym on siam a lot, where is it. Know its uk and would LOVE to train here for for a bit. Someone give me a postcode
I noticed how in the beginning he conditioned him with roundhouse kicks then as soon as he conditioned him he throws front kicks and lands them perfectly while his appointment expects roundhouses, he fight smart
Love those liver shots into low kicks. However the high earmuffs shell style defense really turns me off to kick boxing/muay thai. Seeing more head movement footwork and counters is much more entertaining and practical imo. Dope technical stuff tho.
you wont see tons of head movement in muay thai your setting yourself up for a nice knee or head kick. these guys are a little more k1 based so its slightly different from the likes of muay thai.
this particular series is more kickboxing/k1 but there are also a lot of Muay Thai sparring videos look up the elite muay thai sparring videos. i will be releasing some more very soon. some of the guys in this spar wars series are muay thai fighters though you may pick them out with the difference in style
Think Diedrick would benefit a lot from drilling some catch and counters or even some head movement with his boxing, so he doesnt need to put on the ear muffs and just take punches. He's quick and has good hands, but just doesn't move his head or counter a very much. Solid combos and a killer right kick though.
i will upload some new rounds soon and it might surprise you when he was just boxing only lots of movement hardly being touched. hes got a strong pressure style
for some reason hard sparring triggers me, maybe because most of the time i sparr hard it's because it escalated from technical. Also i do not know if it is smart to get hit in the head with full intensity in training. Nonetheless i loved the video. keep it up.
Love this! The only thing I dont see is head movement and slipping punches.alot of unnecessary damage being taken. Just my humble opinion and I mean no offence.
First dude was abusing the “rhythm step” and kept getting caught because of it. Just something for my fellow martial artists to be aware of so you don’t make that mistake. Great sparring tho
this is combat sports, they are not going that hard to the head mostly to the body, most damage is caused when you don't expect what will happen these guys cover up well and no what to expect therefore there has never been any injuries. i have seen more people get knocked out playing than sparring a little harder. but for the most part its hard to the body. its not for everyone though and that is totally fine.
@@SiamBoxing I respect it, one of the coaches at our gym is Thai style which if you watch the Thais train it is almost the opposite of this. And then we have another coach that is chute box style more aggressive during training. Like you said it's really just a matter of preference.

Once Amari starts throwing hooks just get ready to shield up and check with your lead leg- because its guaranteed a monster low kick is coming.
Yes i noticed it too 😂
No matter how much your prepared they still get you and hurt like hell haha.
@@SiamBoxing i agree with this. checking kicks hurt too. but it’s better than taking it on the thighs cos u hurt ur opponent too
Amari is the embodiment of the expression "Rock solid". I'm always impressed by his tenacity
he loves that pressure.
When 2 Dutch style fighters go a round it's non-stop war.
Great to watch

The first two were getting at it..love the intensity!! Another great video bro!! Have to add it to the playlist!! Keep making them!!!!
Yeh that was a solid round between Ammari and Andre (ex ufc fighter) thanks for watching
I guess first step of good sparring is accepting taking punches
Your going to get hit in sparring, its never nice but you just have to crack on and learn to defend yourself better 👍
As soon as I get the notification, I watch! Got me itching to train. Thanks for the footage.
@@maxfeliz140 i hope you can train soon mate 👊
I guess he meant by accepting taking punches getting hit and accepting them and not trying to counter it or move so you dont get hit
It's not how hard you hit,it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward 😅
good stuff! stay strong in theres time!
And Siam Boxing thank you so much for this content !
