Yup and then there's that all in going arab guy.. I mean he has the skillset but no brain obviously.. How do you fight someone with full power on each shot when the sparring partner is taking it easy and trying to have some technial standoff? What's even the point in sparring like this without headgear - huge guy with his girlfriends leggings doing axe kicks - wtf. You cant go on for years without getting brain damaged/seriously injured in sessions like this.

its just a matter of putting the time in the gym, surround yourself with a good team and just put the hours in, got to graft bro

@@alexd.3760 yep there is no real short cuts, time spent in the gym is key. But obviously surround yourself with a good team and you will elevate quickly.

This is really good but say a fighter had a fight coming up couldn’t their opponents learn a lot about their styles of fighting through this series?
Not really, sparring and fighting is different when your elite. Sparring is fun taking risks, learning new things that you just wouldnt do in a fight theres no game plan in the sparring, leading up to a fight you may not show things. Each to there own but these guys are confident.

spar wars always shows a lot of ammari diedrick when this guy literally lost most of the fights at the higher levels. I mean a quick look at youtube, look up ammari diedrick and you'll be disappointed by how much this guy shows off in sparring but cant seem to get the dub when it really matters.
spar wars is a combination of fighters who spar at a particular gym, and when you fight at a high level losses happen its about how you learn from that to improve on a personal level which can take time. Spar Wars is not about Ammari it is about a combination of fighters who are all there to try and improve and learn from each other whilst enjoying their training, and if things change for the better you will see them all competing in the coming year... Ammari, Nathan Bendon, Lee Whitfield, Jordan Vucenic, Irtaza, Dean Pattinson, Kane, Tom amongst many others
win or lose fighters fight 👍

I dont want you to think that I have anything against your channel, as a matter of fact, im very thankful for this channel for uploading jon haggerty's seminar. Many of the techniques he taught actually showed in real fights in ONE.

Am i the only who thinks that it's kind of a jerk move to throw a wheel kick during sparring? There's zero padding on your heel, and if that connects on someone's jaw for whatever reason, that's gonna do some damage.
I throw controlled and point toes so it generally slaps with bottom of foot. If they aren’t thrown in sparring, you are getting done with them potentially in a fight :)
everything is controlled, you have to practice what you would do in a fight otherwise you would not do it, as long as things are controlled its not much of a problem. no one as ever got hurt
