Claaaaire! I always thought Japan would be so much more than that! Especially including Disney! I’m glad you spoke about money because that’s the main thing I can’t figure out when it comes to Japan! 🖤
Awww Robehhhht!! Miss youuu. Yeah it's not bad at all really, I definitely know of people who spend more of that on Orlando!
Great vid. You’re right. People don’t talk about money but I love that you have. You’ve broken it down brilliantly and it helps people know whether the prices they are looking at are normal, too high or a bargain. Looking forward to the rest. X
Aw thank you so much, I appreciate that as I was worried about talking about it. Glad it can help people too. Thanks for watching!
Awesome series btw.
You hit the main Japan travel points imo. After planes and accommodation are sorted, the most important three points are:
1. Internet. Pocket Wifi or Sim is essential. (We used Ninja Wifi straight in and out of Narita and perfect the whole time - with a powerbank)
2. JR Rail Pass.
3. Suica or Passmo card after you land.
Japan is a lot cheaper than people think.
Yep exactly what we did. It is isn't it? Thank you for watching!!
Since we’ve seen your Japan vlogs we want to go! It looked like you had such a great time and the blogs were amazing! 💘
Oh wow amazing!! It's honestly so good I'm so glad you enjoyed my vlogs thank you!
That was interesting and less expensive than I thought you were going to say! Spreading out the cost was a great way to pay for it!
Yeah I'm glad you thought that, definitely more doable than people think! Thank you for watching Margy!
Yesss Claire I’ve been waiting for this!!! xx
Aw thank you, hope you find it helpful!
This is such a great video! You're right that money is a touchy subject but it is SO important and has given me a much clearer idea of what I should expect to be spending on a Japan holiday thank you!
Aw thank you Rachel! SO glad you found it helpful, you're right it really is so important in planning
Excellent! Of course we watched. Wouldn't be a Wednesday without Aclaireytale!😍😍
Haha yaaay! Thank you so much
Thank you for the detailed info. I will try to use your tips when I plan my trip to Japan.
Aw I'm so glad you found it helpful for your trip to Japan. Hope you have the best time
wow, such an amazing informative video!! thank you so much for doing this claire, it has been so useful! love your content anyway, but this was so well done, also love japlanning such a cute name xx
Oh wow thank you so much for saying such nice things. So glad you found it useful!
Wow. I had no idea it wouldn’t be as much as I thought. Thanks Claire. Enjoyed that. Very informative ❤️❤️
I'm so glad you enjoyed it and I'm so glad you found it informative. Thank you for watching!
Japlanning! So cute! Thank you for taking the time to make this video! I live in Canada, but still appreciate you including all the costs of everything!
Ah you're welcome Kara, was nervous about it but glad it was helpful! Hope you are staying safe in Canada!
Thank you so much for doing this video Claire! Trip budgets can be tricky but this has helped us out so much! Someday we will be able to do our own Japlanning! 😁
Aww I'm so glad I can help, thank you so much for watching! Aw I hope you will too!!!
Claire that was such a good video, it was so informative!!!!!
Aw I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Thank you so much!!
Omg that was great and super helpful - I like researching and I have a budget spread out over time... there are so many things like what's in English, train schedules and paying, is school in recess or their holidays and extras like tours and local events.... thanks so much for all this....
Aww you're welcome, thank you so much for watching!! So glad it can help you
Thanks for sharing this info. Definitely a lot less than I was expecting, maybe I’ll actually be able to go!
Ah that's exactly what I was hoping for this video, to show it is more doable than you think. Hope you get to go one day!
We spent about £5500 for two weeks in Florida with about £1000 spending money each! Can’t wait to plan my Tokyo trip, naturally it was Disney motivated but excited to see Tokyo and Kyoto aswell 🥰
Oh wow!!! Yeah exactly - people think this will be heaps more but we did quite well!!! Hope you have an amazing time in Tokyo!!!
Thank you for sharing the costings as this is something people often ask about on social media when looking to book trips especially orlando so well put together 👏
Aw you're welcome Gary, thank you for watching! That's part of the reason why I did it, you just don't see people talking about it (though I did worry about this when editing as it is a touchy subject!!) when first looking into this trip I had no clue what sort of budget we were looking at so I'm glad it can help you.
This is so helpful! It’s been a dream of mine to go to Japan and seeing those prices it’s made me realise that it’s not out of reach 🥰
Ahh amazing, exactly why I did it. Hope you get to go one day! Thank you for watching
Great price, definitely doable. Very helpful video thanks 😊
Aw thank you glad you found it helpful!
Thank you so much for all the helpful information ❤️ Roll on October for our trip 😁
Ah thank you Holly for watching, glad you found it helpful. Hope you have the best time in October!!
We are looking to go in 2022 5 days Tokyo 5 days disney so this is a fantastic help. I am so glad you talked money!! Absolutely brill👍👍
Oh amazing I'm so glad you found it helpful! Thank you for watching and I hope you have the best time in 2022!!!
That wasn't too bad of a cost, especially traveling from the UK. On our trips to Japan, we spent a little less than you did on our first trip (for two people) and a little more than you did on our second trip (for two people). Our exchange rate was really good at the time of our trips so that helped.
Ah amazing!!
This was so informative! I think it’s really smart to let people know about your spending, and didn’t sound like bragging at all! 😀
Aw thank you Joseph, I'm sure you know I was worried about coming across that way. Glad you found it informative, thank you so much for watching!
Great video Claire, i was surprised with the cost, i anticipated it would be more 😀 thank you for such an informative video
Aw thank you Jess, yes I did too! So glad you found this video informative thank you for watching!!
Wow that was so interesting, it was a lot cheaper then I thought it would be. Great video 💕
Aww thank you Helen, so glad you enjoyed the video
Brilliant and so informative 👏👏👏 Japlanning lol 👍, that was a lot cheaper than I thought, looking forward to next weeks xx
Hahaha thank you Aled! So glad you enjoyed it!!
That’s pretty similar to what we’d pay out for a holiday in Orlando - flights, car, villa...but Discovery Cove, SeaWorld, Busch, Aquatica tickets or Universal tickets (we were AP holders to both for the last few years so that cut overall price down per trip). Disney is just too expensive now, so we tend to do a party night such as MNSSHP, Flower & Garden or Food & Wine for the day/night. We are sooo tempted by Japan now.
Ah you found it, yeah that's what I thought people pay a similar amount for FL. For some reason people think Japan will be so much more but it really isn't!! You'll have to let me know if you ever go!! Thank you so much for watching!!
Wow " Thats so good lve spent alot more going to Florida! Thanks for sharing your travel plans.
Ps.love your hair colour 👧
Ah you're welcome just wanted to show that it might not be as out of reach as people think! Aw thank you about the hair colour! It needs a good cut though all my baby hairs underneath we going mad in this video haha
Very refreshingly honest video Claire... and I think what people spend is entirely personal. Also people have different priorities on spend-eg for Florida I take a lot of money for clothes etc but we don’t take as much for food. This was really helpful- as always 😊 Lynn
Aww thanks Lynn, so glad you found the video helpful! Yeah you're so right, people have different priorities and like to spend in different ways etc
Great vlog pal!!
Thought that would’ve been double the price!!!
I’m defo going!!!!
Ah glad I can show it's doable!!! Thanks for watching
I think that's a fantastic price for that many days. I can't believe the hotel pricing! So cheap for the Hilton and then sooo expensive for Disney! We went to Japan so many years ago, I can't remember anything about the cost. We had been left some money so we didn't really think about it either, which was probably not the smart way to plan. Thank you for sharing.
Yeah not too bad is it? I know and that Disney hotel was miles away as well, definitely not worth that price! No thank you for always watching Chrystie, hope you and your family are staying safe
That was really surprise in, I thought it would be a lot more expensive it was great how you broke everything down from travel accommodation food and spends that really helps when planning big trips
Aw Dawn thank you for saying that, I hope it was helpful. Thank you for watching!!
Hi Claire! Your trip was quite a bit cheaper than I thought it would be. Very interesting to see it all broken down into categories of where the money was spent.
Aww thanks for watching, glad you found it interesting!
I totally agree with you, although talking about money related things, seems to always be a bit of a taboo, but when planning a trip, it's exactly the thing you need and want to know! Even if the prices change, you at least have an idea of what you can expect!
I think paying throughout the year is a good tip! Loved this video, curious to see the next one. x
Aww thank you Annelies!! You're right it is so important when looking into a trip. Thank you for always watching
@@aclaireytale
I was actually surprised at the price. It's about the price of a cruise if not a little less. Japan looks like such a cool place...plus it has Disney lol. Would love to travel there someday. Thank you as always for a great vlog :)
Awww it really is such a cool place, definitely recommend it!! You're welcome thank you so much for watching Josh :)
I thought it would be more expensive!! Great info, thanks so much:)
Yeah I can imagine, I did too. Ah glad you found the info good, thanks for watching!!
Really interesting video! Thanks so much for sharing with us and being so organized. I don’t think that’s a bad price at all per person. I was really surprised by how affordable the trip was! I’ve definitely spent that much at Disney for a week 😂.
Haha right?! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video and found it interesting!! Thank you so much for watching Jessica, Hope you are well
Haha we also called it Japlanning back when we went in 2014. Now this is a great escape during the self isolation.
Haha gotta love a word pun! Aw thank you glad I can provide a bit of escapism at this time! Thank you for watching!
I think that's a good price, the hubby and I are hoping to go next year this has really helped thank you
Ah I'm so glad this has helped you plan for your trip! Hope you enjoy Japan. Thank you for watching
@@aclaireytale we have been to Bali for the past 3yrs hopefully again in October and we do the same as you we book everything separate and by ourselves. I dont think people realise how easy and sometimes cheaper than going through a travel agent. Maybe I might post a vlog on how cheap it is to go there you have given me inspiration 😊 where is your next trip?
Yes so much cheaper sometimes!!! It's hard to tell at the moment we're hoping we can book something for the end of the year but it's all so unpredictable right now!
When I went with my fiancé we spent a total of $6,000 for the both of us for a week there. We went August of last year. I think we spent more on drinks then food it was soo hot that week. We stayed in Osaka for the whole trip. Took a day trip to Tokyo with our JR pass, spent two days in Kyoto (traveled back and forth), went to Nara for a day, and spent the rest of the time in Osaka we did one extra day in Osaka because of a typhoon we couldn’t go far. We did spend about $2,000 on food, Icee card for bus and other rail lines, entry into museums and such, and souvenirs for the both of us. Completely worth it. Plan to go back and spend more time in northern Japan and Tokyo (: I enjoyed watching your trip and picking out similarities. (:
Ah amazing! Lovely to hear about your trip too! Sounds like an amazing time you had. So glad you enjoyed the watching our trip too, hope it brought back some nice memories of your trip!
aclaireytale yes we definitely did have an amazing time and bring back some wonderful memories (:
Aw I'm so glad!!
this a great help! I was hoping to have gone in may this year but we all know this isn't happening, so now hoping for next year. i budgeted for around £4000, but with your list it sounds definitely do able! thanks!
Aww I hope you can go next year. Glad the video was a help!! Thank you for watching
I think you got a good deal. When I went to Japan two years ago, we spent a similar amount each. We looked at the Disney hotels but decided against it because they all seemed so expensive and realistically how long are you actually in the room/resort - most of the time is spent in the parks. We also found food to be reasonably priced. I'd love to go back - the Japan Disney parks are amazing and I want more merchandise! Looks like you had a fantastic time and you're right, you didn't spend too much. It was all worth it!
Aww definitely all worth it! Yeah you're right when you're doing these long days in the parks, you're barely in the hotel room! Thank you so much for watching Guy
Wow! That's much less than I thought it would be. I just assumed it would be more expensive than a Florda trip. Thanks Claire xxxxxxx
Yeah I thought it would be surprising to some! Thanks for watching Claire!!
That was soo interesting and was a surprise as I have always thought that Japan would be very expensive. You make fab vlogs and definitely sold Japan as a country to me. Disney doesn’t ever need any selling lol 😍😍
Haha that's so true about Disney!! Aw thank you Paula, so glad you found it interesting. Thank you for watching!
Your trip is pretty much what we did, but we did it 3 months before you did. I'm planning to go back so I'm watching your videos and they're so much fun!
We had some bad luck like you did with your camera... Day one we arrived and bought our Disney tickets (we did Disney first) and then the next morning couldn't find them. We dropped them in the shop in Hilton Tokyo Bay! Luckily someone turned them in.
And then, same day, my friend dropped her phone into the water as she was getting off the Sinbad ride.
Crazy day.
Now I'm moving on to watch your Orlando videos... That's where I live! Can't wait to see what you say about it!
Hi Katie aw thank you so much! I bet you're glad you did it when you did! I know I am! Such a shame about your tickets and the phone that must have been so stressful! Thank you for watching and for moving onto the FL vlogs too! I miss living there so much!
@@aclaireytale Yes, I'm so glad I went before everything went crazy! What a crazy close call that no one could have predicted!
My summer trip for this year was supposed to be London in June, so that got cancelled, obviously :( I was so sad to miss out!
@@katiemcnair7088 ah so sorry to hear that. Hope you get back here soon
Great video my son is looking at going to Japan but not to disney so it would be even cheaper for him x
Ah yeah definitely! Hope your son has the best time in Japan!!
Thanks for sharing, very informative.I am guessing you had travel insurance.Bet you are missing your trips out with your mum and dad. Hope everyone is staying safe. Can’t wait for your next adventures..
Ah so glad you found it informative, thank you Margaret. Yes we had travel insurance, sorry I didn't think to include that. Aw yes so much, not even that I just miss them full stop haha - would love to go for a coffee with them never mind a trip! We are staying safe though and that's the most important thing. Hope you are staying safe and well too
I think you did it the right way.Good tip,👍🏻
Aww thank you Marie!
I found my trip was a lot cheaper than I thought to! I went last June same layout of a trip to loved the vids!
Ah Ivana so glad to hear this!! I think it has surprised a lot of people! Aw hope my videos brought back some lovely memories from you trip in June. Bet it was lovely there in the Spring!!
Oh Claire I was genuinely shocked at the price I thought it would be double that. Thank you for taking the time to cost it all out. I’ve really enjoyed your trip reports. X
Thanks so informative and not as much as we thought
Aw so glad it can help you! Thanks for watching
The cost of your trip was really good. When we went a few years ago it cost us about $4500 Canadian each for three weeks. We went all over and did everything we wanted and left no meal or souvenir behind. Some people think Japan isn't doable because its so far but really your plane ticket is going to be the most expensive thing. Accommodation is affordable and so is the food. Your activities may cost a bit but not too much. I'd say going to Tokyo to do Disney would be cheaper than going to Orlando.
Thanks for sharing the cost of every thing. Its a good way of planning how much you need to save to do the trip yourself. 👍
Aww thank you so much for watching. Yeah you're absolutely right. Glad you had an amazing time over there
Thanks Claire your videos have been a great help. We were planning for next year and we had it down around £3000 each but we have osaka in there to. Thanks again and I hope you and your family stay safe.
Ah I'm so glad they are of help, that's why I do it!!! So thank you. That sounds like a good budget to work with. You'll have to let me know if you go next year! Thank you for watching
@@aclaireytale will do hopefully all this chaos that's going on at the moment will have calmed down and we can all get back to a little bit of normality
Aw I hope so!!!
Please come to Japan next time too! We very welcome you! ;)
Aww thank you!!
I totally agreed I spend more than that on my trips to Orlando and we don’t always buy park tickets. So your total cost was amazing. The added breakfast cost at the Hilton was a great deal. I had never heard about buying a wi-fi pass. Is that something you could get worldwide or was just specific to Japan? I don’t want to pre-empt your vlogs but are you covering the the language barrier and other things you may have been fearful of before you travelled? Looking forward to your itinerary planning next week because I know how you like to organise. 🤣🤣.
Hahah thank you for watching. The language barrier wasn't a problem at all - everything was in English like stations and signs etc. Not sure about worldwide, it's just something that Japan offers at the airport. It's so handy!
Great video again Claire, very informative we always try to book rooms with breakfast makes it so much easier. A couple of questions if that's ok what visa or medical jabs were needed? and was your camera insured?
Aw thank you! Yeah you're right it does make it easy and convenient. We didn't need a visa or jabs. We filled in a few forms on the flight itself but we didn't have to send off for anything. I didn't claim on the insurance for the camera. Thank you so much for watching!
I found it so much cheaper than I thought it was going to be, sometimes the place we'd chosen for dinner would be less than £10 per person! Our most expensive thing was flights. Even found Tokyo Disneyland merch to be much cheaper than Orlando merch prices!
Yeah it's so surprising isn't it?! You're right about food, couldn't believe how cheap it was to eat good food!! Thank you so much for watching
brilliant vid as ever. something about your voice is very calming and easy to listen to.
ive considered japan afew times but was worried about cost and this really has put another spin on it.
i do have a question, i have a almost 5 year old daughter. is japan child friendly? i would love to take her to disney but wondering if the japanese culture, transport etc will be too much
Aww thank you Barry for being so kind. Glad I've helped make you think about going to Japan again. I'm sure Disney is fine for a 5 year old. I guess Tokyo and Kyoto etc might be a bit much as there was a lot of walking but I'm sure there's way around things like more trains/buses instead of the walking that we did. I'm not 100% sure to be honest as not having kids ourselves it's not something we think about so I might not be the best person to ask. I am sure you would be fine though
Japlanning. Love it 😍
Hahha had to!!!
@@aclaireytale What do you use to edit your videos??
You had me at Japlanning! Being from the US and a DVC member, that’s a steep price tag compared to WDW but I think it would be cheaper food wise. It’s great to know there are some more nice budget friendly options for hotels.
Hahhaa Japlanning!! Ah yes I guess it is. Gosh DVC though it's going to take me years to get that haha I'm very jealous!! Where's your home resort? One day it'll happen haha!!
aclaireytale Our home resort is Copper Creek, it was such a great purchase! I never would have been able to bring myself to pay deluxe resort prices unless it was a special occasion! Really looking forward to staying at the Poly and Old Key West was supposed to happen in a week but maybe next time!
Love all your Japan vlog's...if you were just focusing on Disney for 4 or 5 nights and a couple of nights in city centre Tokyo...would you still recommend the JR pass for a week?
Aw thank you Darren glad you are enjoying them! No I wouldn't recommend the JR pass for that trip as it sounds like you wouldn't get value for money. we were there 2 weeks and didn't have JR pass for that second week because we were at Disney. Thank you for watching!
i was expecting double the cost of that each, I thought flights would be more expensive, we’ve paid more than that to fly to Orlando in school holidays! Amazing video really explained it all and made it sound more simple. Great Vlog xxx
Aw you're welcome Sally, thank you so much I'm so glad you found the video helpful!
I was meant to being going to Japan in July but I think it’s going to be cancelled cos of the virus... once we rebook I’ll be coming back to your videos! I’m hoping the prices don’t go up too much when we rebook for next year! I’m going to be saving till we rebook!
Aww sorry to hear it may be cancelled, hope you get to rebook!! And thank you, the videos will always be here haha. Thank you for watching!
Great video, thanks for filming it. I wonder what the cost would have been in the summer or peak time? Would you know how much to add to your total?
Aw thank you so much! Ooh not sure we didn't look at summer dates
I though this was informative. Not as expensive as I though but somewhere like Japan is a once in a lifetime holiday. If you work hard why shouldn’t you go somewhere nice. Like you say you saved up for a year.
Aww thank you Laura! I think I worry too much about what people think haha. Yeah it's not as expensive as you think it's going to be is it? Thanks so much for watching!
I've been planning my Japan/Olympics/Disney trip for awhile now. For the 3 week trip, it'll cost about $4,300, not including the Olympic tickets (before that moved to 2021). Booked the flights and hotels already, which is about half of that cost. The recent events, however, will likely change all of that. While the trip isn't cheap, is could have been far more expensive without proper planning.
Ah I definitely agree with that, you have to plan so well. Your total isn't bad at all if you think you will go over a week longer than we did. Our was 12 days in total so not as many nights in hotels. I definitely wish we could have done 3 weeks. When you re-book I hope you have the best time!!!
Airline is currently not letting me cancel, so I might still be going this summer, minus the Olympics, and sadly maybe even minus the Disney.
Hi Claire, great overview, thanks for sharing the numbers.
I was wondering, why did you buy the Disney tickets there and not online?
You're welcome, thanks for watching. No reason whatsoever to be honest. We just knew we could buy them at the hotel and then get the early hours pass then too so that's what we did.
Yeah, from the U.S. the plane ticket is the really spendy part. Everything else is actually not too expensive compared to other trips.
Ah I bet. Yeah once there it's not bad at all. Thanks so much for watching
Hay Claire. thanks so much really interesting. We prefer to go to a travel agent. We have been quoted for next September for 10 nightsusing two hotels in the bay area, one hotel being The Hilton nrar Disney. We are going from Heathrow using Emerats and changing in Dobye. Yes flying direct is to exspensive . Our quote was 5594.00 which is quite comparable to what you spent. Does not include Disney tickets , but pleassed with the price. Thanks very much it gives me a way of comparing prices.
I can't say this for all travel agents but I used to work for one and it is so much cheaper when you book everything separately yourself so maybe look into that too? Just so you can compare. Sounds like a lovely trip though it's so worth it!!
@@aclaireytale Thanks Claire. I do like the extra protection of Abta which I do not think you get if you everyhing seperatly. So for me personaly I do not mind paying a bit more as long as it is a bit more. lol Thanks again, love your channel.
Thanks for sharing Claire. I think our part of our trip when we would have been in Japan works out slightly more however we were having 14 day JR passes. What was the actual cost of the Disney passes in pounds? I worked it out against the exchange rate and they seem to be very reasonable. It’s my birthday today (29th) I’ve had a fabulous day. Lots of surprises from the family. We spent a few hours this morning watching family disney holiday videos. Such amazing memories to look back on. This vlog was really useful to check whether we had planned well. Xxx
Aw thank you so much for watching. I think it was about £180 for a 4 days pass which is like you say just so cheap! Happy Birthday for yesterday! Hope you had an amazing day, glad you had some surprises from the family. Lockdown birthdays are not the best but you have to make the most of them. That's so nice looking back at old family videos isn't it? I do the same very often - very lucky my dad filmed all our holidays! Glad you found the vlog useful!!
aclaireytale we are on 2004 videos today and we are in California starting our trip at Disney Land before we go to Las Vegas and San Francisco x
Awww amazing! Wish we could go now!!
hi claire,as you know my holiday was a guided tour so everything was pre paid so 6 different hotels, all attractions were included and a 14 day japan rail pass.......where i was hammered was the fact i`m single so had to pay single suppliment prices in all of the hotels,i paid it because of if i didnt i wouldn`t have gone so a no brainer, the price i paid minus the suppliment was around £3,500 but didn`t have to worry about anything and that JR pass was hammered!!!! ha ha!!! my spending money,i took £1,200 so would be for food and for myself,i came back with loads of stuff,i ate like a king and came back with £650!! i couldn`t believe it!! i agree claire that the food is very cheap and it is just fantastic! souvenirs are cheap too,it`s just a case of buying at the right places! my holiday was all over the island in various locations and for reference anybody reading this my holiday was at the beginning of march this year,i was very lucky to get to go at all!!! lovely vlog as always claire and see you next week!!!
Aww thank you Johnny. I cannot believe just how cheap it is out there for food/souvenirs etc like you say. I was sure we were going to have to use our cards at Disney just a bonus that we didn't have to! That total isn't bad at all if you consider all the extras you had to pay and considering it was planned for you. So worth it all too isn't it?
@@aclaireytale yes it was claire, any other mode of transport we used that were not JR,that was all paid for too! So i started in tokyo, went to mount fuji then on to kyoto,Osaka,Hiroshima, kanazawa, takayama then finishing up back in tokyo with two free days to do what i wanted, again using the JR pass to travel around the city to its fullest! I didnt eat for once thiink about eating cheaply,i ate excactly what i wanted! The hotels were all lovely and had no complaints at all,i was just sorry i had to come back! Ha ha! X
Oh wow you really got about! Must have been jam-packed!! I really want to do Osaka if we ever do go back! Yeah you must have really used that JR Pass!!! So worth it
@@aclaireytale Osaka is like getting slapped in the face, the place just comes alive and lights up! And the food!! Its amazing! Osaka is known as japans kitchen.....😁🇯🇵
I'm just thinking about when you went to harjuku....takeshita st......in engrish its pronounced takeshta.....now you know!😁🇯🇵
Hi how much was the Disney tickets for 4 days in pounds thank you it has been very imformative loved your vlogs xxxxx
22,400 yen was about £180 for a 4 day pass at the time. Think it's £160 now
Very interesting video. I've got most of the money back from our cancelled trip now so it was interesting to see the comparison. You got a steal of a deal for the hilton Tokyo Bay!
Ah glad you found it interesting, money is a touchy subject and never want it to look like I'm bragging. Ah we really did for Hilton Tokyo Bay! We actually looked at the price of it when we booked our flights and it was so high! Glad we waited several months before we booked
Hi Claire, my brain must be hardwired in the same way as yours and Simons in I budget in exactly the same way with pots of money for different things. Either that or it’s a retired banker to an accountant thing but I pay and budget in the same way as you.😂😂
Haha yay great minds think alike!! :D Hope pizza/no pizza night was good!!
I don’t think that price is too bad, we haven’t been to Orlando since 2017 and with tickets and spends then I think it was over £3000 per person.
Hi Daniel I'm so glad you think that, was worried about talking money as it is a touchy subject but wanted to show it's not as an expensive trip as some may think. Thanks for watching!
Did you get the hotel rooms directly from the company or did you use a website like Expedia or booking.com? How far in advance were you able to book? (I hear you can only get the rooms 90 days in advance)
We used hotels.com! We booked our rooms a few months out from our trip. I might talk about it more in the next vlog. Thank you so much for watching!
Hi see my comment I just made about Hilton Flash sales
Actually, I am personally not that shocked it was that much. Sounds reasonable.
Thanks for watching Bailey!
How are you doing through this pandemic?
Aw thanks for asking John, good thank you. We are safe and healthy that is the most important thing! How are you doing?
@@aclaireytale unfortunately I live in New York which is the worst place in the world for this pandemic haha...we are all healthy though. My dad had it and recovered.
Thanks to yours and Adams awesome vlogs that allow for some escape. Your vlogs bring sunshine to a somewhat dreary world right now. Thank You!
Sorry to hear your Dad suffered from it but glad he's recovered now. And glad I can provide some happiness! Thank you for watching
