i LOVE MY Ti Lite Wheelchair!!!! i Love how it just perfect for me!! I was injured with a fall i landed hard enough to damage my spinal cord, it didn't paralyze me, i can walk some but its such struggle to walk long distance any where outside my house i can't walk, so my physical therapist and doctor i need a chair. at first i was overwhelmed with the brands, and different kind of chairs there are. i had help between my therapist, doctor and man who helped me choose. when it FINALLY arrived I Was in love with it. its just perfect in every way!!!!
Hi Texas Girl, I am delighted for you about the chair and if you are not full time dependent upon it then it may well serve you a long time. However, don't expect great customer service once it breaks down or if there are any cobbled streets in your county as this company will cite that as why your wheels are falling apart, or some other excuse as to why your footplate broke apart in less than a year. Other's experience may well be different to mine but mine was not a good one. Dreadful Customer Service and very very Poor workmanship in a chair that effectively lasted me less than 2 years - And, as a Second chair that I used mainly when I was on stage performing
I've actually haven't had HUGE problems with it since i've gotten it and that was in the middle of 2014, i've had to change a tire and a knob got loose once but that's fixable when i see my physical therapist and the institute i have therapy they have workers that can help me out, i take good care of it trust me . but thanks for the info its good to have.
When ordering a chair the most important thing is having someone you trust if it isn't yourself configure the chair. Done correctly it will take approx. 2 hours. Some chairs are fixed with no adjust-ability and others are adjustable. So, if you aren't sure, think of one that can be adjusted...
muy interesante... ma gustaria ver una silla de ruedas para la playa, que no se entierre en la arena, de preferencia mecanica (sin motor), podria tener orugas de algun material sintetico, que no reaccione con el agua de mar.
Hi your chair is nice. I guess our cha ir will fit me too. Please if you can tell me the spec and size. The front angle and camber angle the size of your footrest and footplate if you can share me as much info will be helpful. I'm getting tr too. Thanks for the video.
it is the worst chair in my 20 years as a Wheelchair-User Rubbish front wheels and bits falling off the brackets at the back fold and the foot rest has to be drilled out to be replaced in under two years of active use
+MaZEEZaM The best Chair I have ever owned and that notwithstanding how heavy it is (Yes it's still going) is the Quickie Revolution as it folds down front and back and sits beside me on the passenger seat(breaks down like a child's Buggy) Sadly SunRise has discontinued it and not planning anything like it in a lighter weight. The Brakes on the TiLite have given up for the second time last week. Definitely the Worst Wheelchair I have had the misfortune to own. Oh in the British Isles we pay in £s what most people pay in dollars and quite often More
I previously looked at the Quickie wheelchairs but someone complained that the frame cracked after only 5 years though he was a big guy 6 feet something where as im small. He suggested this brand. This brands wheelchairs seem to be lighter than the quickies which for me the weight makes a massive difference and I really need the lightest possible chair. I spose I should probably go with the same brand of chair that I currently have if I can get a light one given its lasted me 20 years and other than me having outgrown it, its in perfect condition.its an Etac Elite, most likely discontinued these days pdf.medicalexpo.com/pdf/etac/etac-act-etac-elite/76114-100369.html and this image is the same as my wheelchair i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTU2MVgxNjAw/z/MB4AAOSwBLlU8JWw/$_1.JPG
Thanks for the reply, you have prompted me to see if I can see if this brand still exists and see if they have new super light versions given I know how well the one I have has been built.

MaZEEZaM I have a quickie, it's a piece of junk. The people who maintain it are idiots which doesn't help.
What a piece of shit, mine fell apart
