Always glad to have you talking about IndyCar. Hope to see one in a few months, would be great to hear you talk about the one-offs for the 500 and the expanded field (and Kyle Larson attempting the double). Last year's 500 Qualifying was almost as exciting as the race.
Let’s go dude. It’s awesome to see you return. The indycar UA-cam community has grown since your departure, but fans are so excited to watch stuff about Indy car ahead of the season. Thanks for the return!
1:55 I put myself through all those races and woke up at 6am for Suzuka, Australia and Las Vegas whilst only catching IndyCar thanks to FP1Will's reviews on those races. Love the content and welcome back!
I am a big Indycar fan and in the past a friend and myself went to two races every year. They were the Milwaukee Mile and Road America. We did go to one Michigan Oval race in the past. I like the Oval racing on most the tracks they did in the past because we could see the entire track and didn't have to wait 2-4 minutes for the race cars to pass by again. It is better to watch the road and street races on TV, at least we know what is going on better. I also do SIM racing and wish they would come out with a good Indycar game again. I have the RFactor 2 SIM racing game and have majority of the tracks Indycar raced on through the years. I have one car set that depicts Indycar racing drivers back in the 1990's. Allot of fun SIM driving the tracks like Detroit, Long Beach, Road America, and Mid Ohio to name a few Thanks for the video and take care.
Thanks for the video. I’m still super disappointed that the Texas race isn’t happening this year. High hopes that I hear it is only temporarily off the schedule, but it couldn’t have come at a worse time for TMS after having the best race there in years. The closest other track to us is something like 9 hours away :( the races are so much fun and all the drivers are so nice. It’s my young son who got us into racing, and I now love watching it and learning all about the cars and strategy involved in race with fuel windows and pitstop strategies. He stated loving IndyCar’s at age 2, and we had tickets for COTA in 2020 :( but at least we were at the Testing day in February before they shut everything down. That was a really cool couple of days because almost no one was there because it was during the week and mostly a media event. The drivers were also not under the pressure and competitiveness of a race weekend, so they were easy to meet and talk to for a while. That’s why I love IndyCar because most of the drivers are really friendly and easy to talk to, and it’s usually pretty good, clean racing unlike other forms which wreck someone in the last lap just to get the win. Looking forward to the future too. Rejoining with iRacing was really good, and hopefully we just keep hearing more positive news in the future.
Dylan man, I understand your struggle on re-uploading. I’m actually a motorsports fan myself(particularly Indycar), but my channel somehow got good algorithm with Female NCAA basketball content. Because it’s a topic that I don’t really have a care for, it’s really difficult for me to put in 100% focus and dedication. The feeling of wanting to upload is there, but the work and time consumption to it, just makes you want to just drop the whole idea. I’m thinking about taking a risk and transition over to Motorsport content. I know I’ll be more happy with this decision but again, that comes with the risk of my channel dying and losing subscribers. Really a double-edged sword situation for me.
Good to see you back! I dipped into Indycar a couple of years ago to see how Grosjean was doing, and quickly fell in love. F1 and the feeder series are still my main focus, but I make sure to catch Indy whenever I can.
I’m so sad Texas won’t be on the schedule this year. I was at last years race and it was literally the best race I have ever watched live period. On TV and all. At least it went out with a bang
Qualifying on ovals is different depending on which one we are at. For example the Iowa double header, the first lap is qualifying for race 1 and the second lap is qualifying for race 2. But at Indy 500 qualifying it is the average speed over 4 laps. Also I'm excited for Indy 500 qualifying this year because the cars have been getting faster every year and we are getting close to the qualifying record. The last couple of years they have gone faster than the second fastest qualifying run ever.
To say that my excitement is through the roof about the 2024 IndyCar and Indy NXT season, would be a massive understatement..... St. Pete cannot come fast enough
Love indycar i always follow along with nascar. And living in oregon i always go to the grand prix of portland. I know conor daly isnt racing anymore but i still love will power and colton herta.....but Petersburg sucks lol
Besides the Red Bull & Max dominance the F1 field was really competitive & was really exciting & fun to watch imo The standouts being Alonso, Hamilton, Lando, Oscar, Leclerc, Sainz & Albon
Could an F1 team run an Indy team using the same cars if Indy set it's rules to run F1 specs? Could say Haas or Andretti or McLaren which has an Indy car team supply their F1 cars in Indy if Indy were to spec it's cars the same as F1?
Even in the 1960s when both series had open development, constructors would use different designs for Indycar and F1, like in 1965 Lotus giving Jim Clark the model 33 in F1 and the model 38 in the Indy 500. The modern Indycar series uses a spec chassis and engine, you have to use a Dallara DW12 and a 2.2L twin-turbo made by Honda or Chevy. Neither series will let you use a car from the other.
Literally none of them are bad. Indycar is always at least decent. Of course some tracks are better, but none will leave you regretting going. I just say go to the one closest to you.
Sadly I can't even watch IndyCar in an official way in South America and I know VPN exists, but I'm not fond of them since it means having it installed in whatever device I decide to watch at the moment. If anyone know another way to get around the regional block would appreciate the knowledge.
Given that F1 is exceptionally predictable, is leaning into the show over racing aspects, and is a very closed club I’ms probably time for me to give them up and see what’s up with Indy.
Typical euro additude that "dominination is just how it goes" no it isnt. It doesnt have to be that what. Fc bayern doesnt have to win bundeßliga, your sport is just run awfully. Americans actually know how to run a competitive sport. There is often 8 teams in the nfl that have a realistic chance of winning, but yeah, its just normal that only 1 team has a chance
I find Indycar to be vastly inferior to F1. I dislike ovals but absolutely hate Indycar street courses. Roger, you need better road tracks! In F1, its a lot easier to grasp the strategy aspect with more understandable rules and the appropriate information presented to the viewer in a clear and concise fashion. It is decidedly unamerican to limit innovation in Indycar while it is a staple of F1. Netflix enabled me to get grounded in F1 by exposing me to the teams and drivers. That's how I learned to appreciate Super Max Verstappen.
F1 is getting predictable..unlike IndyCar..if am not mistaken the indy championship was decided with a race in hand which is exciting.....f1 championship was decided in first half of the season
Same car racing sucks. I grew up watching IndyCar in the 80's n 90's when teams could have different cars! Its so hard watching racing when they all drive the same cars. Would LeMans matter if all the top teams ran the same cars? Nope.
When the world needed him most... He returned

Since you have been away

Juncos Hollinger Racing had their own version of the Falklands War
Newgarden finally won the finally Indianapolis 500 under controversial circumstances
Will Power didn't win a race in 2023 losing his long winning at least once in a season streak
Sting Ray Robb and Benjamin Pedersen became IndyCar drivers and showed how they drive
Linus Lundqvist made his IndyCar debut showing why he should be in the sport
Jack Harvery was fired
Christian Rasmussen became the 2022 Indy NXT champion and will drive for ECR
Grosjean has allergies to finishing races
Devlin DeFrancesco is gone
DHL split from Andretti to go to Chip Ganassi
Road America was repaved
And FP1Will took up Indycar meme duties for the entire season after covering only 1 race.

great to see you back, championing this criminally underrated series. Looking forward to whatever you've got coming for this year.

It’s been a while, glad to see you post!
All the races there is action that’s what i will say for Indycar

Go Pato! This is the year!
Despite IndyCar being in crisis right now I'm optimistic that they'll be able yo get their act together in the next 2 years.
Awesome to see you back! 🎉

I understand that man! You've always got to do what you love no matter what!
My advice is make whatever videos you want to make (unless women’s NCAA is paying your bills)
Indycar is awesome!
oh dam it has been over a year but yo here I am at 3am my time watching the latest video lets go bro keep the videos coming.
welcome back! it's gonna be a great year. 133 days until the indy 500, see you there!
Only one e race uses the "oval aero package," and that's the 500. Everything else uses street and road course aero.
Good to see you back! I dipped into Indycar a couple of years ago to see how Grosjean was doing, and quickly fell in love. F1 and the feeder series are still my main focus, but I make sure to catch Indy whenever I can.
Ah good to hear, the racings always wicked!
@@DylanJamesGP The racing is brilliant, I just find it hard to follow with all the different liveries who's who.
Fellow USF Driver loved this! Hope you upload more, but I understand the struggle. Have a good day!

1:52 And that's where Formula E comes in
Welcome back DJ 🥳🥳
IndyCar really is the best Motorsport on tv. Very blessed to live in Indiana and have gone to 15 Indy 500s in a row
My detox is usually Formula E
Indycar is such an amazing series that deserves far more fans and a far better leadership system
They're also introducing hybrid engines this year, if I'm not mistaken.
The king has returned
Dylan dont use 2023 st pete lap 1 challenge: impossible
Allow it 😂
Welcome back 😊
Good to be back!
No more long breaks Dylan!!😂 we need you
just found your channel thanks to FP1Will, love the work
Ah awesome thanks man
I’m excited, great video.
We just not gonna talk about how theres this rookie guy Tom Blomqvist who beat some Dutch guy named Max
To say that my excitement is through the roof about the 2024 IndyCar and Indy NXT season, would be a massive understatement..... St. Pete cannot come fast enough
Thanks for a good, positive video. Keep it up.
You're back
Even with a very Bleek future for the series, 2024 might be one of the best seasons.
Was it 2 years ? 😮 welcome back
Watch WEC and MotoGP as well as F2 and F3
Indycar is like watching a more unpredictable version of Formula 1, but a more sophisticated version of Nascar.
It's like the best of both worlds.
Keep making vids bruh. All indy.
Welcome back.
HE’S ALIVE
Hes Back!
Summoned his inner Sage Karam…. Lmfao
Top Racing Series to watch this year (for me)
1. Formula 2
2. Indycar
3. WEC
4. Formula 3
5. Formula E
If your super bored check out imsa

Can discuss which are the best races to go to I’ve always wanted to go an Indy race as it’s way more affordable
Literally none of them are bad. Indycar is always at least decent. Of course some tracks are better, but none will leave you regretting going. I just say go to the one closest to you.
If you really wanna know the best though, imo its indy 500, long beach, road america -texas-, and laguna seca
I'll give indycar a try, but in my heart sports cars > open wheelers.
I’d love to watch more but run at similar times to nascar and as far as American racing series go I’m watching nascar much closer racing
Sadly I can't even watch IndyCar in an official way in South America and I know VPN exists, but I'm not fond of them since it means having it installed in whatever device I decide to watch at the moment. If anyone know another way to get around the regional block would appreciate the knowledge.
You're a funny guy 🤣
Given that F1 is exceptionally predictable, is leaning into the show over racing aspects, and is a very closed club I’ms probably time for me to give them up and see what’s up with Indy.
Wouldn’t say f1 season was bad. Not if you understood what was happening historically
Typical euro additude that "dominination is just how it goes" no it isnt. It doesnt have to be that what. Fc bayern doesnt have to win bundeßliga, your sport is just run awfully. Best looking cars? As a WEC fan I have to disagree
Just don't watch Nashville before first reviews, because it mostly would be a bum.
Well they threw Pietro Fittipaldi in the 30 because would want someone nicknamed "Back of the pack Jack" in your car?
Only reason Indycars is still around is because of the 500. As a series its nothing.
Indycar needs that F1 box office champion called Hamilton
I find Indycar to be vastly inferior to F1. I dislike ovals but absolutely hate Indycar street courses. Roger, you need better road tracks!

10 March sorry Moto GP season start much better series
They're my two favourites! Races are completely different times so easy to watch both
the 500 ending wasn't controversial at all. so many beautiful liveries last year as well
