How is the bug situation down there? We tried to camp at the Waiaula Campground before it got wiped out by Pele and we had to pack up and leave because the bugs were aggressive and there were a ton of them. Good instruction from you, but maybe less of you as a talking head and more of the place you were reviewing. Oakland CA

Agreed. difficult time of life and limited film supplies. Thank you for the feedback. I'm hoping my newer content will be a higher standard that I'm happier with. I didn't notice the bugs as much as the heat across the lava field. I'm sure the bugs are worst at different times of the year with swarming season.
