As a Fijian, I am truly happy for the win against Wales at their home ground after the heartbreak of losing to this team at the last World Cup. Putting this game into perspective, I believed that this game was due to Wales losing and not Fiji winning as per the game statistics. All in all, I am happy for the older boys who spilled blood at this ground and the new boys who got to write a new chapter for Fijian Rakavi. 👏
What happened to Wales with the six two bench was what I thought would eventually happen to South Africa during the world cup. Credit to the Boks they build them wingers tougher out there, the whole backline really.
To me Fiji is a team under the radar. Top 10 teams are getting wary of their potential. I'm not saying this because i am Fijian it's just i am seeing development occuring in rugby especially for a tier 2 team just like how Ireland is in the sevens code. The coach also definitely has a lot under his sleeves. Being a former psychological coach for the ABs he is playing his cards right. Developing players to their full potential as we had seen in the game with Muntz. So, kudos 🎉 to Fiji for defeating Wales, the points would have been more hadn't it been those two blunders for that penalty try and the forward pass to Karawalevu. However they did good.
Wales need a couple islander’s I reckon. Every other team has it. Just a solid unit in the midfield along with one or two solid boys in the back row imo
As a Fijian my friend,I think the TMO and the disciplinary committe overeacted to Semi's tackle.See, the victim,Welsh player, saw that Radradra was zooming down on him.On reflex,he catches the ball and duck under him, thats where the yellow card was awarded.I think just a red card would be enough and missing a game.
True test for Fiji, totally different from the team that played Scotland with reinforcements now and well done on beating Wales in their own backyard.
What a result👏👏

6-2 split or 7-1 always a massive risk. Can go horribly wrong sometimes😬
Great review mate..
Thanks mate🫡

They definitely did. I think having the Drua in Super is also helping aswell. Great pathway for Fijian players. The talent is endless👏

They definitely miss Faletau in the back row. But yeah can’t go wrong with a big Islander centre😮💨
Wales looked like they had it going on, till they subbed out the winger for a 10.
Saw Gatland said after the game that was a mistake. Bevan should’ve gone on…🥴

We’ll agree to disagree 🤝🤝
