I'm starting to hate this engine on my ryobi pressure washer it wouldn't start when I bought it. But I knew the owner so I bought it figuring it was a dirty carb so I bought a new carb and installed it. She started right up but the idle was everywhere so i replaced the bypass valve and cleaned everything it got a little better but was still flooding. I finally figured out these engines have 2 types of carbs that Amazon or the sellers dont say anything about one is a auto choke the other is a manual choke and the only difference is a small post that the choke arm rubs against to lock It in on the manual chocks. Now that I fixed it and have everything running its now starting to burn oil like crazy I thought It might have been from tipping it over but after cleaning the cylinder and running it for a while I still have oil burning.

Do you think you put too much oil in it.
what happens if the intake valve is bad?
The engine will run poorly and it will backfire.
