Super cute, Erin! The journal I did during and after our London trip is one of my most precious possessions Make sure you write down everything you do at the end of each day so you don't forget all the little magical bits - even when things go wrong!
Aww Rachel I love that so much! I always vlog my trips just for my own enjoyment, as a keepsake to look back on, but I'm so excited to have a journal of this one too! Did you take decorative things to add to your London journal or stick to the classic pen?
@@ErinSmith I took pens, stickers and even a mini printer! I journaled with all of that the first couple of nights but it was quite time consuming after an exhausting day, so I ended up just writing our activities and details each day in a rough draft at the end of the day and then properly finished the journal when I got back home. I was a little too ambitious going into it. LOL
Hi! I noticed you going to Amsterdam, and as a Dutchie myself I wanted to recommend a daytrip or two ^^ Groningen (my hometown) is a beautiful city with a lot of history, and not a big tourist trap like Amsterdam is. Something that is a bit of a tourist trap: Kampen. Also beautiful, nice and small, and almost a living museum! I can promise most Dutch people know English, so that won't be a problem ;)
Erin thank you so much! I really appreciate your tips, I'm realising while planning that I really don't know much about all these amazing places, so your advice is really helpful! Also, your name is the best 😉
I’m going to use your bucket list spread for the occasional weeks where you transition to a new month and have 2 extra days. I like to keep my months seperate, but don’t want a weekly for just two days, so will try a spread like this.
I’m so pleased to see Edinburgh on your list, so many people miss Scotland and yet it’s the most beautiful little country in the world. I hope you’ll be here long enough to take at least a day trip in to the highlands! great ideas in you bujo, happy planning xxx💕
It’s one of the places I’m most excited to see! 😍 a highlands day trip is number 1 on the list, and my other half loves a good whisky so he is pretty excited too 🤣
Yay! Travel journal! ♥️ love what you did there. When I’m thinking of traveling I also think of warm, brown colors. I also set up my travel journal for our trip to Rhodes. If you come to Munich text me for tea ☕️ ♥️
I'm glad it's not just me Charly! I guess it's that vintage idea of travel being glamorous - brown leather suitcases and passport stamps! I will definitely DM you about catching up - we're still finalising our itinerary but I'm SO keen to squeeze Munich in! I'll dm you 😘
You have such an incredible collection of floral washi and stickers! Next time I treat myself I will have to head to the washi tape shop! Your trip will be here before you know it! Enjoy planning! ❤️
Oh man Bek they are the MOST beautiful washis, truly! I am trying to work my way through the sticker and washi collection, it’s gotten bigger than it needs to be!
I love travel, too! Are you visiting Manchester when you come to England? Are you hiring a car just for the UK or all of your trip? If all of the trip, don’t forget that most European countries drive on the right, but you’ll be OK over here as we Brits drive on the left, same as you. You may well do fine with public transport across most of mainland Europe, though.
I’m not too sure yet Joanne! We’ll only be driving in the UK portion - the other side of the road is a bit too scary 😂 we’ll be heading up to Edinburgh from Bath though so there is a good chance we’ll stop by Manchester on the way! 😍 I’m SO excited, I can’t even tell you!
Aww I’m so glad Kae! What an adventure 😍 I have a couple of other travel journal videos from after this one in case you’re planning to journal your trip! 🥰
@@ErinSmith Yep Tonia is back about 80% but has know under investigations for cancer me they are still investigating although staring to pins and needles inn the lower legs we cannot take a trick at the moment but we will get there stay safe and take care
I actually didn’t bring this one Jan - this was for planning ahead of the trip. I just posted the initial spreads for my actual travel journal about a week and a half ago if you’d like to see! I went for the Washi Tape Shop’s Floating Clouds journal which is nice and small (but not too small) and has 120 GSM pages, so not super thick but not so thin you have to worry about bleeding either!
