At last! Finally a new beautiful single with this unsurpassed, wonderful voice of Brad Roberts. I missed him for so long, but always consoled myself with the old recordings. I hope that another CD will be created that will delight us, the fans addicted to this voice!
oh my gosh I just saw them tonight in Eugene Oregon and after 30 years of loving these guys I was thrilled to be in the third row so close to the people that have brought me so much dance and happiness and introspection in the decades! what beautiful souls ❤
I found this on Spotify, while telling a buddy about this band from the 90's and early 00's that was far better than any of their singles, I was going on about the great ensemble and hauntingly deep voice of the lead singer, when ol' Spotsy let's me in on this nugget of harmonic meditations. So here I am, to thank the Crash Test Dummies. Thanks, you crazy Canadians. Never stop.
I have only ‘discovered’ CTD in the last month or two. I was aware of Mmm Mmm Mmm of course, but until recently had no idea how damn good they were or how much I would grow to love Brad Roberts’ voice. This band is truly special and I’m grateful for each of them.
Thank you for this song Brad and CTD! Experienced performance of Sacred Alphabet at Cain Park in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Being outside - in the darkness, under the stars (beautiful night in Cleveland, BTW), added to the song's essence.
my old friends used to listen to CTD during the 90's. we're scattered now in places and marriages. thanks brad for this. such a low tremolo sound. thanks.
Only just discovered this new track. Had no idea they’d put out some new material. Absolutely fantastic. Love this. As a fan of the band since the beginning, this makes me want a new album more than anything. Please make it happen!
Just found this track, I love CTD since their first album, I was lime 12 years old...wonderful mood, great Brad voice, dramatic song. I'm going to listen all their songs again.
Lovely song. However, I would really love something a bit more upbeat, like the first three albums. There is nothing as incredible as the way songs like Afternoons & Coffespoons, I'm A Dog, I'm Outlived (By That Thing), and In the Days of the Caveman sound. Those 4 in particular are absolutely tops. Not just of CTD, but of any musician/group EVER. PLEASE make more songs that have drums, that trademark slow strum, those amazing bass lines, and sprinkles of piano, with the random harmonica or kazoo. Anyway, it's nice to hear new stuff!! I will always be a fan, if even only of the first three records. Cheers.
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

It says: 'In the beginning was the Mind...' Ponder that first line, wait and see, Lest you should write too hastily. Is Mind the all-creating Source? you guys still at it? funny i hadn't thought of you in years. i may have even had you confused with a band named type o negitive that i also hadn't thought of in many years. found my way to your page after watching wierd al's version of mmm mmm mmm mmm. i left a like and i subbed. good luck guys! love the new content!
Sadness & no light in their music…such a waste of talent. People need hope & inspiration….although could be used to create dark emotions in theater/movies to create a dark feel in the crowd. The songs are storytelling not much for entertainment as a positive for a world needing hope & love.

I am on my way from birth to death, and the music from Crash Test Dummies is never far away to support me.
Loved this group since I was a teen in the '90's and still enjoying them in my mid 40's - A very unique sound with great lyrics and accompaniment.

This song was beautiful live. It really showcases Ellen Reid’s range. 😊
Brad still has that voice, so glad to hear you guys back! The world needs CTD more than ever!
Somehow, some way someone knew i needed a little more Brad Roberts in my life.
Mesmerisingly beautiful. What a gem of a song.
It's midnight and I'm crying hearing this for the first time.
You're not the only one who cried.

This is a just a beautiful song on every level. And quintessential Crash Test Dummies. Thanks.
Brad's voice is soothing and eary when it needs to be. 30 years later and even better. I hope this is a sneak peak to a new album
Saw them live Sat night, second row. They did this song and it was amazing. The entire show was fantiastic from beginning to end.

Man Brad's voice is still amazing!
Exquisite. Sacred. Uncompromising.
Loved it live, love it here! Great job, y'all. Just...just gorgeous.
The voice that touches your soul - Im so happy to find a new song of the CTD 😊
Just saw them tonight in Glasgow Scotland 🏴. They played this. Was a great gig!
Soft and sublime at the same time
Just found this track, I love CTD since their first album, I was lime 12 years old...wonderful mood, great Brad voice, dramatic song. I'm going to listen all their songs again.
Fantastic. Just beautiful. So wonderful to see that you all have no lost a single step.
What an interesting, nice song !
I flicked a cigarette out while my dog barked. I love you guys
My gods that's truly sublime. Please say you're releasing an album to accompany this!
Those drums in person shake your soul 💥
Deserves to be put on a soundtrack. Over end credits.
Brads voice is still one of the most unique in the business. His vocal cords are deep in his legs!

More like coming from the bowels of the earth! Best bass voice EVER!!!
amazing! Got to see it live in St Louis last week 🤘
I can't honestly believe they just played live in my town less than TWO WEEKS AGO and I missed it!!! I never heard about the tour until now.
Appreciate you so much!! ❤

Who would have thought that 30 years after God Shuffled His Feet, we would still be getting more CTD goodness. Hope another album is in the works.

People need truth and knowledge.
BUT:
In The Beginning Was The Word And The Word Was With God... (my view)
