Nina Dimitri you know, I think sometimes the acting with UA-cam originals can be a bit inconsistent. Missi Pyle is a talented comedian and actress but her acting on the UA-cam original, Impulse, was a bit ... off?
From the first episode I like Maddie and Ben as professional partners not as lovers. They have friends who are lovers and that’s OK. Eventually that’s going to change through time. Ben in season one is enthralled with the siren song. nevertheless I do see him having genuine feelings for Ryn. I just think his psyche is one of fear and need. It’s not love yet. I did enjoy How they portrayed Ryn concern over Ben’s welfare and her acknowledgment that her song can Cause him harm and her willingness to protect him and leaving him. I love how they portray how smart the species is because she’s able to understand that she is in between Benjamin and Maddie. But she also acknowledges that there are feelings between Benjamin and her self. I also really enjoyed that she was able to control her self in the water to save his life.
I totally agree! Ben and Maddie can still love each other, but I think it will eventually be on a platonic BFF kind of level. I’m really enjoying this slow burn between Ben and Ryn, and hope to see more progress in season 2. 😍
Jason Samuel I think they attack when their afraid, she barely knew him when she attacked him and all she knew of humans at that point was that they took her sister and they hurt mermaids. She cares for him now and he protects her she knows he wouldn’t hurt her so she’s not afraid of him anymore. That is why I think this time she didn’t hurt him she saved him.

That scene was emotional when Ryn was singing to Ben, she thinks it was too much for him, she said she thinks she's bad for him and she think she was putting him in danger so she decided to stay away from him.
I haven't watched this shows yet but already hooked by me with the clips and tbh made me cry with this clip. It's getting on my nerves already I love this two ben and ryn already fan of them. now I really need to watch the entire series

I would also like to know more about the Hybrids from Hellen, like Hellen said she is generations away from transforming but she is still 1/8th mermaid. So she has to have some type of powers, like lets say she ages slow or like even at an old age her body might be really strong or something. I can't wait to learn more about those Hybrids, also the first generation Baby as well... The one that Ben's Great grandfather or grand father had with his mermaid lover. I would really like learn about the Hybrid nature. My rating 8.5/10!!!!!! 💔😭 Season 2 please hurry up

This is two years late but I don’t think it was a mistake. I think her fin gets left behind after she transforms into a human and overtime it will decay and eventually just wither away.
