I'm totally in love with the lighter/natural wood cabinets and accents!! It's about time to see a accent wall that's not shiplap!! I would upgrade to sheetrock tho and put the fiberglass tub in the 2nd bath. Upgrading the primary bath with the GIANT soaking tub and shower. Then I would say this home would be perfect for me 🥰

Wow! That's amazing price. That is perfect! The second closet I'm thinking you could do one of those barn doors, but on the inside of the closet. I would look into the option of seperate tube shower in the master, but that bathroom was really big, and the two other rooms looked good size.

Very nice home. Only a couple of changes that I would make.
1. Move the access to the water heater to behind the door in the master bedroom and out of the closet.
2. There is room to add another clothes rack in each of the secondary bedrooms.
Other than that, this is a home I could definitely see myself and my hubby living in.

Very nice home, I would only do a few changes. I love the office, so I would keep that. In the main bath I would add a full size D/H window opposite the toilet, and eliminate the transom. I would add carpet everywhere, except the kitchen/dinette, bathrooms and laundry room. I would, if possible, add a oversized tub next to the shower in the master bedroom; I only need a single vanity, and I would eliminate the transom window. Outside, I would want regular shutters on all elevations.

I really like this one. The only thing I would change would be to take out that little kitchen cabinet area and expand the laundry room.

I absolutely love the classic black and white on outside...very,very nice house...it felt cozy and homey...loved the color scheme and the solid color flooring...I didn't like the space between the sink and wall in bathrooms, but I was wondering if they could put a divider up like beside the toilet in master..that way it extends the counter top and also keeps things from falling off the side..just an idea..second there has to be a door to the master closet..being open won't work..and put a nicer soaking tub in instead of the combo...miner things..overall a good home..
I'm still looking but I have a gut feeling that prices like regular homes will be going down very soon and when I can get one of these babies for under 100k then I will be doing some serious looking...prices on mobile homes go up and down just like real estate...ty for your videos..keep them coming
I went to clayton homes last month & their double wide started at $200,000 and single wide at $100,000. I left that place and never went back. I found a double wide for $89,995 3 bedrooms & 2 baths both with double sinks, open floor plan.
Which one was that at? I have seen some Clayton homes for good prices and some that are as you over priced.

Look for REDMOND. But do ask around. NEVER buy a Clayton home. Ask people that own a Champion, I think they 'may' be OK.

Door on laundry room and that extra closet in the master bathroom I would delete and redesign some things and one is to add a large linen closet since this place has Zero linen closets, have a large Walk in shower and tub if fit without looking crowded. Again the master has a double stand alone sink vanity with drawers.
I had a Clayton home and it was junk! Floors were chipped plywood instead of real plywood. Cabinets Pre fab instead a real wood. Central air unit junk had to be replaced after two years,hot water heater jammed into a small room without proper drainage. Junk shelves,cheap carpet

Yep, they were the worse when I worked in the industry. That ceiling that Nate showed for this one is Very cheap. Watch for the leaks!

Clayton is the Worse. I thought that price was TOO MUCH. Ceilings are very cheap.
Every countertop in the home, kitchen, island and bathrooms all have sharp corners. These corners should have been rounded a tad bit. Also you should state in all your showings the size "gallons" of the water heaters. For the price around $113,000, you can't beat it. Make a nice "seasonal" beach house or in the mountains or perfect for a downsizing retired couple.

I like the colors and the general layout of this home, and the fact that the kitchen cabinets reach all the way up to the ceiling, but it's quite obvious that the builder cut some corners to get that low price point. The splice joints in the walls scream CHEAP, and I'll bet the cabinets and doors are all press wood and will start falling apart in a very short time. Sometimes it's better to pay a slightly higher price for a quality-built home that will last longer than it takes to pay off the mortgage.
Finally a double wide that's not insanely priced.
yea, but it's cheaply made. When I was in the industry, Clayton was the worst, floors would buckle in 3 years. That ceiling is very cheap, that I know.

Why do they do that rough ceiling texture? That's been outdated since the early 80s. I do like the house though. Love the colors of the floors, cabinets, walls, etc. I'd remove the carpet of course but I totally love everything else, the cabinets are not basic and the insides match the doors unlike many that have white interiors. The cabinets on either side of the refrigerator are your pantry cabinets.
Nice layout. Wonder how much more for sheetrock if it's available. Even if it's only in the living room and kitchen dining room area.

The house is just the right size and well laid out. The guest bedroom closets should have additional hanging racks on the long walls. I would turn the smaller master closet into a large pantry/storage area accessed from the laundry area. I would enclose the toilet in a WC, make the shower/tub combo in the master bath into a large stand alone shower, and add a second water closet in the corner.
Love the video! If anyone is looking for a smaller double wide (1050 sq Dr 3/2 with exact same finishes by Clayton its called the Binton. The same finishes in a 2/2 single wide it’s called the Victor. Enjoyed!

The sink/vanity in the second bathroom is definitely not a Pedestal style sink, it's a stand alone single vanity
That " Butler's Pantry"area as you referred to it I would make those lower cabinets be drawers over door's type increasing the amount of kitchen drawers and same with the lower cabinet to the right of the stove.. I like the wood tone of the cabinets, so sick of white.
I have one on order already. It truly is a most affordable double. And with sinking most of our money into 34 acres of land, we had to get smart.
Too Bad. Clayton is the Worst in the industry. I know, I worked in the industry. I Wish you Good Luck. Save your money for Lots of repairs coming.

The home is nice but I would like to have the kitchen separate..most of these homes have it in the living room
I'd rather not have closet two in the master bathroom. The fact that it's open to the toilet is just gross. Second the laundry could have been bigger. I like the nook with a window beside the tub. Great spot to set up a get ready area

Hey Nate! Good video! Nice house. But...there is No back door! Except for the sliding glass doors in the dining room. You aren't going to put a garage there! With my bad legs, a detached garage is useless to me; I might as well not have a garage at all. I thought it was law that homes had to have a back door? I suppose they are calling the sliding doors as the back door. I don't! So...I know what I'd do, which I'll tell in #3!
#1) Fireplace in the Living Room, gas or a wood-burning stove one.
#2) Looks like there is a gas cook stove - great! But there's not gonna be much counter space left once you put a microwave on the counter next to the stove, probably to the left of it. I hate the sink being in the island, but there's no other option in this house. Don't like that big island either but without it, you would have virtually No counter space at all, so it has to be left as is. I would probably go with a different color on it and on the kitchen cabinets too. I think just a shade darker on the kitchen cabinets would do. But that's very minor stuff. Oh we don't need a dishwasher so remove it and put in another cabinet or drawers. I'd use that extra space by the refrigerator you mentioned for extra shelves, just like you suggested.
#3) Now...where the Butler's Pantry is, we don't need a butler's pantry. So remove it! Put an outside door there! Then...we would build our attached garage there and put a storage unit in it and a big Pantry with a good place for a freezer, chest or upright, or both! I'd also put a door going into the laundry room, maybe just a pocket door, but I don't like my laundry room open for everyone to see into!
#4) I don't like the vanity in the guest bathroom. Not having the counter go all the way to the wall, but not leaving room to get a broom in between, is a big mistake! You'd have all kinds of stuff getting stuck in there! Change that counter to a longer regular one! And a slightly smaller sink too, so there is some counter space. I like the rest of the guest bathroom though.
#5) The guest bedrooms and closets I would combine. I would actually remove the wall between the two bedrooms if possible - might be load bearing though, which would probably mean I couldn't. Anyway, the bedroom next to the bathroom I'd turn the the back part of it into my Music Studio Room and enclose it because it would have to be soundproofed. Then I'd put an Office in the front part of that room. The other bedroom and closets, would be my Library with a small part, maybe one of the closets not enclosed of course, as a sitting area with a small gas fireplace or stove.
#6) The Master Bedroom is very nice, and almost too big as we don't spend that much time in the bedroom. But it's nice just the same. I love the closet being in the bedroom and not in the bathroom. So, that second closet I would change so the door opens into the bedroom, not the bathroom, closing off the doorway access to the bathroom. Then I would change the vanity in there as I didn't really like the one shown very much, just like the guest bathroom. I'd put a longer regular vanity in there, one that goes to the wall as normal, and then maybe two sinks; depending on the amount of room, because I like lots of counter space! I'd also make use of the extra wall after closing off the doorway to that closet and I'd turn the commode around to face the vanity area, and center it in that area so there is plenty of room on the right and left sides of the commode! I'd also get rid of the wall next to the commode shown that's directly behind the door; don't like it being there in the first place, and with the commode moved you sure don't need it. I'd also take advantage of the tub option you said is available, but I'd put in a Handicapped Tub, and then maybe a tile shower with a bench, where the tub/shower combo is now. I wonder if it would be possible to install a pocket door going into the bathroom? Sliding to the left of the bathroom, while standing in front of bathroom from the bedroom. If possible that's what I'd do as then the door wouldn't be in the way.
#7) There would be as many porches as we could put around the house; some enclosed and some just covered. Carpets would go in the Living Room and Bedroom and the sitting area in my Library only.

"affordable"? What world are we living in here. How can we call 112,000 affordable?. Affordable for who? Im a welder i make $22 an hour and this is still blows my budget out of the water. Affordable😂. Yeah let me just run to the bank and pull 100k out of my account 🙄. I just dont understand like how much money an hour would i have to make to call this affordable. Yall printing money out here or some shit i dont know about? Only in my wildest dreams would i be able to say anything costing 100k is affordable. And its not like i make bad money for my area. I do alright but lets at least be realistic here
You can't even get a manufactured home in Montana for less than 150K, This home in Montana would be more like 175K. As a rule of thumb I have found the Northwest to be at least 50k more than down south. The average wage here is less than you make. It takes 2 incomes to buy anything now days.
It's affordable compared to today's prices I make less than you but could afford to make the payments on it . A home is a major purchase and like you said most folks dont have the money to pay cash. I hope to buy one and have it paid off before I retire so I don't have to pay a mortgage or rent when I'm old .
22 an hour for a welder? 😂 low wage. Go do some pipeline welding and you could afford yourself a 400k home in a few years and just a reality check. You can't buy any real house on a slab for less than this trailer cost. This is definitely a cheap option for owning a house. Also there's this little thing called a credit score and financing, its how most adults afford nice expensive things. You'll figure it out one day.
$112 at the time of this reply is over $600K cheaper than the median home price right now in Bozeman Montana, 3 hours from where I live. Median price is now $765K
Everything about this screams cheap trailer, complete with the seem lines of all the walls.
I read nothin but bad things about Clayton Homes being junk and lot law sues
In 2019 i got a brand new 60x28 3 bed 2 bath with 2 living rooms, set up and delivered for $64k here in east Tennessee from Clayton homes
Im my travels I have noticed especially since c19 that prices have gone way up and also depending on the area like in the PNW prices are much higher than down the southeast.
