    The fabric I use is Robert Kaufman Kona Cotton Fabric. It is very good quality neat even weave (plain weave) cotton fabric with a variety of colors. The price range is around $5 ~ $7 per yard (the cheapest, safe, and good website as far as I know, I ordered my fabrics from this website).

    This is great! It explains a problem I had with not washing my first piece before stitching then washing after. I appreciate your videos!

    I am a beginner, and after watching so many videos, I found these and have to say they are the clearest, most concise videos I have found. These videos actually get me excited to go pick up my new found hobby and get going! In this video you went over the 'must know' stitches, but I cannot find any of your videos showing exactly how to do these stitches, will this be something you could do a video on in the future? I liked! I subscribed! And I plan to donate because people like this deserve recognition

      Thank you for the compliments! You can simply search the stitches in UA-cam. There are a lot of good tutorials around. 🙆❤️

    Thank you!!! It is really nice how you explain! I will be checking your channel! I do not if you have a video that shows how to make the different stitches. if not I would like that you make one :)

      I'm glad you like the videos. Unfortunately, I don't think I will make a video for the basic embroidery stitches since you can find it easily on UA-cam (tons of them). I will focus on making the video with the info you could barely find on UA-cam. For example, you can check out the [3 Types of Outline Stitches], [A Tour of Satin Stitch], and [How to back your embroidery hoop]. They are pretty informative. Thanks!

    This is really helpful thank you. I have a question, when you anchor the thread do you do it for every different stitch? And at the start of the anchoring bit you started at the top and had a bit of thread coming out, is this one of the bits of thread you cut off after? Sorry! I’m learning

    • @threeincheshandembroidery5904
      @threeincheshandembroidery5904  3 роки тому +1

      You can use it on any other stitches as long as it will get covered up by the stitches after. And yes, always cut off the excess floss. It just one of the method for anchoring the floss. Sometimes I just make a knot instead of using this method. No one gonna look at the back of your hoop though. Haha!
