Daryl's the man. Both inspirational and humble and so talented on top of that. Glassjaw is my favorite band and if you've ever seen Daryl up there on stage belting it out and just giving each song his all, you'd know why.

I think Beck is the cornerstone, but it's one of those partnerships where the two of them together creates this thing bigger than what they could do on their own. They're both very different in many ways, but their differences never seem to add friction to their friendship. If anything they seem to appreciate each other's talents and differences. He owns merch direct, he provides merch for some of the biggest bands, his company also acts as a direct (pardon the pun) ticket outlet. Basically all the years glassjaw got screwed beck made a business career helping other bands avoid it. He said in another podcast that its because he's busy, also Daryl is the only person he enjoys making music with.

Glassjaw are my favourite and always will be favourite band. But when I saw them live in 2012 I was so disappointed. Daryl kept doing this weird convulsion on the mic over and over on every song and it just ruined it. He literally looked like he was having a fit and I just couldn't work out what the hell was going on. He also continued to change the lyrics of almost every song which just was crap.
