@ well, Ill catch some flak from the purists. Its a 89 performer coinroll f/f/bars that Ive had since 92’. The chrome was decent but I never liked chrome. (No 990 mounts) It all started when I found an 88 PFTT orange and green fluor decal set. Im a blacklight nut…I did a test over a neon yellow sample and was inspired from there. Its my 10th 80s bike but I have a $2-3k cap on any bike. Ill be happy with as close as I can get. Psyched that Porkchop has Gt seats now. Its a frankenPFT and Ill avoid scolding by listing it as a Performer on the Museum. Never thought Id get one with the pricetag on that model. Im in Brooklyn.. my most coveted gems are renovated Kuwahara Bravo Kt and a Bravo team models… thanks!
@ nice! Are you on the BMXMUSEUM? Would love to see some of these creations. Also I thought PC was sold out of the 2123 GT seats at least in white. Black probably not too far behind or out of stock now. With GT in limbo and on pause I doubt PC will get the license renewed for another batch with logos. But…but… you could always use the none logo 2123 seats he has for sale and put a decal on it.
@ I have an ongoing note to take photos and upload bikes. Im more of a tinkerer than sharer. For years Ive only referenced and bought parts on the museum. I definitely will though and I also have a list of everyone Ive bought major parts to share what Ive done with them. I chat with people there often and enjoy the network. Same with youtubers that share collections and bike stuff. The coinroll f/f has been at the powder man in Brownsville for months. Hes done other bikes for me so I trust him. Hes a family man and I told him to “make money first, no rush”. I have a white GT logo seat I ordered in may before the news but I did order 6 more Gt tires and two sets of Power series cranks. An extra pair in case I ever find a Dyno Pro Compe Id do in fluor orange. A rocky economy may be on the way and my wife is already tolerant of my 10 existing bikes😝so we’ll see about that. I do want a pink GT seat for a franken 88 Haro Sport in pink and teal thats awesome but wacky. The pink dominator just isnt doing it for me. I guess I better get it. I thought those seats would stay in production because its PC. Bummer! . Ill hit you with a link when I finally get photos uploaded. Im laid off for 2 more weeks so hopefully it happens.
@damonsmith290 First things first, thanks for watching and commenting. Now let’s get your question, in the link you posted Kevin Jones is actually riding a Dyno Pro Compe, 1989. It is Dayglo yellow which is the same Dayglo yellow that was used on the dozen or so 1989 PFT. However they are not the same bikes obviously, so no it was not what was used in my video.
