Massive thanks to Tom and Mike, definitely wouldn't have made it to Barber without them!!! N2 ran the two days also, and it was a great time. Any questions on the SV650 or anything else let me know :)
Barber Motorsports track looks good. Wish i was able to go there to ride it. Speaking of riding, if I was in the USA, I would definitely want to have a go on the track sv650. Just in case You do not post another video before the end of the year. have a Merry Christmas my friend. I have enjoyed watching your channel all year.
Honestly the cameras don't even do it justice, the elevation changes and stuff are so much fun. That'd be class, get all ye over here for a track day :D Well, if you ever find yourself over here!!! I hopefully will, thank you and you too bud. :) Likewise!!! Pity a heap of us aren't neighbours, I feel there'd be no need for videos then, just team motorcycle projects :D
First time commenting, but I’ve been following your channel for a while. I found it while researching a Concours 1000 I bought, and soon after saw you’d moved to the States. I enjoy your videos, especially the sarcasm, and it’s cool you’ve been to places like Seneca Rocks I’m about an hour from there. I’ve had about 30 bikes, including a Z900 50th Anniversary I loved but didn’t keep long (I’ll get another one someday). Right now, I’ve got an ’07 SV and 5 other bikes , still looking for that “forever bike.” I also do some repair videos, though not as good as yours. Keep it up, and thanks!
Well thanks for commenting! :) Ah Kazs bike! I wish I'd had more time and money to go through that thing, lovely bikes, just don't fit my feet 😂 Thanks amigo, glad you like them. Ah nice, I get over to WV whenever I can to meet up with Hatter! If you're ever looking for a riding companion hit him up he's always looking for people to ride with. Ah nice!! That's a lot of bikes! I think I've had maybe 13/14 not 100% sure. The magna at home.is definitely a forever bike. I don't know would anything that's kind of modern would ever get my devotion the same way! Thanks bud, and I'll check your channel out this evening :)
A proper racetrack. I am so jealous . . . . Don't worry about being slow in a race. My first every race at Mallory I was lapped in an 8 lap race 🤣 Being that slow meant I could only go faster 😉 Always take a spare clutch with you to a race. Easy to change at the track just lie the bike on its side. If you are not confident in the brake for whatever reason change it. You don't want things like that on your mind while trying to go fast round a track. Loved seeing the onboard of that circuit. Thank you. 👍
It really is, it's honestly amazing. The entire facility is mental too, but that track will be up on a pedestal in my mind for a long time 😂 Hahaha I'll see can I beat that record then 😁 But yes, having a speed ceiling that's extremely far away is not a bad thing at all! Ah I know, I was so annoyed when it started happening cus it's such an easy fix. We live and learn eh! Yeah they definitely were bothering me, fine everywhere except the downhill and then the lever feels was just too soft, a little bit of feel and progressiveness is a good thing but that master cylinder is just not great. Glad you did, thanks Stephen :)
That's amazing, having a chance to go around a track where pros race would be a fun experience. Yeah, I know, it's only MotoAmerica, but it's the best we've got over here! Having said that, I'm wondering how far off "normal people" times are from a MotoAmerica Twins Cup qualifying time. You feel up to it? We can take up a collection and get you a shiny new Aprilia RS660 or Yamaha R7! 😁Did you get a chance to see the museum at Barber? From what I've heard, they're supposed to have a really nice collection.
One of those tracks that I'll be able to remember riding on forever even if I never get to go again! Hey motoamerica is up there in my eyes :) Quite a bit. The best lap I managed recorded with my dodgy clutch is 25 seconds off the twins lap record 😂😂 aliens is what they are. I would do some things for an rs660 😂😂 I won't say what, but .....things 😂 Sadly no, will have to go back for it, they close at 5 and we were on a tight schedule. I really wanted to see it.
That's largely why I went for it. I knew I'd end up ruining my Z900RS and didn't want to, the SV is an easy one to find and has an absolute heap of parts available!
Merry Chrysler my friend!!! Google says at least 2k, I'd need that part up front :D :P I'd pay for my flights myself tho, and shake yer auld paw in person.
@@diyeveryday67 ah it's 21 years old, probably original, and has 16k miles. I knew I was taking a chance abusing it as much as I have after that 😂 But yes, it was a pain.

Really enjoyed that, love the commentary
Thanks man, tried to keep it a bit shorter as well, we'll see does it pay off, thanks again :)

It's a brilliant track, the cameras don't do it justice either.

@@TheGorillaBiker That's still pretty good, as far as I'm concerned. Well done!
Thanks man :)
Looking at picking up a SV650 for a track bike myself. Been to a few track days on my Honda 919 and wasn't to get a dedicated track setup sv.
That's largely why I went for it. I knew I'd end up ruining my Z900RS and didn't want to, the SV is an easy one to find and has an absolute heap of parts available!
@@TheGorillaBiker Ended up picking one up over the weekend. Im gonna try and get a video made about it and maybe it'll pop up in your feed.
So cool. Merry Christmas man.
How much for transport to Tasmania? Cash in person boy.
Merry Chrysler my friend!!!

@ You’d get a bear hug.
@hachewie that would be acceptable
Great vid thanks. Must take ages to edit the vids
Thanks! These ones aren't too bad tbh, trip videos take much much longer 😂
Bummer about the clutch!!
