This happened to me yesterday! Motor mount screws came loose. My pinion looks good- replacing the spur with a stock one for the time being.
put a metal spur in mine a few days ago. ready for the next issue. LOL.
Wow, total gear carnage.... The laser nut is basically 1/10 scale but with more the a 1/8 scale appreciate, power and sizes... So very hard on the material.

Where did you get your center diff? Everywhere I look online is out of stock for weeks!?!
Change the spur gear in mine the metal! Works better than it was new and also changed all the sun gears in the gearboxes to the tenacity truck gears more traction! Also upgraded the servo

Would the DB pro center diff work?
15 4s packs in and finally chewed up my plastic gear too. I ordered the metal gear when I bought my Nut. I am wondering if its designed to be plastic to fail first before blowing out the whole Diff. guess I will find out in a few months.

So I think the gears are the same, the ones for the lazernut, Tenacity TT, use metric hardware while the TLR kits use Sae hardware.
The new 8ight XT/XTE is metric now too. Except for the 0.05“ in the small grub screws at the sway bars and nitro linkages.

Plastic gear is for sacrifice if something seizes the two. If both were steel......
My lasernut has an issue and I can't seem to find it...when I take off it sound like grinding but when I pulled middle diff it looks OK then I pulled read diff and it looks fine . Is my fluid to thin? What should I use?

Hey man I’m new to the rc community been watching your videos I just got my first rc it was the lasernut but my front right wheel is hanging off and I have no idea where to start fixing or if I should buy a whole new (upgraded) suspension kit which I can’t find one for the lasernut much help would be appreciated or even a tip

@@FrozenAppleX Its NOT a dumb question! I normally use GRAVITY RC Diff fluid but any diff fluid should work. The weight depends on your needs. I will explain in the video why I chose the weight then.

@@FrozenAppleX I noticed when it didn't want to correct in the air after that last jump you can see that I dont lay into the throttle as I knew something was wrong
HMmmnn 2 choices, Buy an Axial Bomber and Drop $$$ in the Mod Bucket, or Buy a Lasernut and Drop $$$ in the repair Bucket, in the mean time I'll keep building my crawlspace, working on my Gen 8 Axe and Ponder the future, Bomber v2.0 Plastic or LaserNut Drivetrain ???
Yeah and whats with the Dogbones and cheap plastics at this price point ? Yeah acknowledging Bomber drivetrain issues also.

I thought the weak link was a missing motor support screw.
How to ACTUALLY know as I don't have a timeline of when the screw ejected Itself and seeing the plastic gear only makes me want to tighten up the driveline to prove my theory I didn't stop just there with thoughts and parts ordered.
@@rcguygarage in my field, I occasional see screws missing or loose due to vibration. So chicken or egg? I would go with screw fell out, resulting in misalignment of gears, trashing said gears.
