You use the term ‘ownership’ very loosely. How much equity does he really have in these properties, beyond the brand on the top on the building?
none, in many cases.
If you want to get a bond of that size, you have to have a balance sheet that shows you have the assets or cash flow to pay the bond back in a reasonable amount of time with _very_ high confidence. You can't have outstanding loans borrowed against the assets you're putting up as collateral. This is why I've been saying Trump is over leveraged on several channels, here on UA-cam. No one that does their due diligence would loan Trump the money, even if they wanted to. Can you say "reputation risk"? Oh, I knew you could! Edit: There's also a timing issue, if you haven't got your money back from Trump, with interest, _before_ the election and Trump wins, your money is tied up for possibly much more than four years.
Maybe Trump can make a 2nd edition Trump shoe? Trump 2 Air? Gold, diamonds & wings on the sides that open out to help the athlete to stay in the air? Could help with his debt?

this comes to them tax free,
then use the rent/money flow to pay the loans.
Every 5-7-10 years, they refinance,
and pull more tax free cash out again,
and start the process all over again.
You're assuming he has value in those properties, which saw a boost in revenue in 2017 and 2018 but began losing revenue in 2019 they still haven't recouped which is why he has refinanced multiple times as recently as last year.
