Just wanna say thanks for your work on organelle. Spending a lot of time with it again recently and it’s a constant source of inspiration. Orac (among many other patches) being one of the things I’ve been having fun with. Thanks!
I snapped up an organelle last week once I heard about Orac. Thanks Mark, this video is incredibly useful, and your work on Orac is very appreciated! Next up for me is learning PD!
if the 'slots' are labelled A1-3, B1-4 etc, then its v2. other than that, I guess just reinstall it :) also you could watch mine (or others v2) video, and if it doesn't look the same its v1 ;)
@@TheTechnobear Thank you soooo much! It's incredible how much your contribution improves the Organelle. I can't wait to finish my terminal tedium and try out orac there. One thing I'm struggling with is controlling external synths via midi control. If I have a sequencer on a1, controlling a synth patch on b2, how do I pass the sequencer midi to midi out? Would that be with he note thru option or would I have to add a midi out device after it? I see that there are 3 midi chains. How exactly do you define which module goes to which?
@@DeathTrapProductions you would use a midi out module , note if you have a synth module which you’ll want to sound in parallel, then you would turn note thru on in that module.
Hi Mark, really amazing job! I was so excited to try it this morning, but don't know way doesn't work. I copied the orac.zop into organelle's usb drive into patches directory, then after installation doesn't work. for example if I would like to load a module in one of the slot it's impossibile still the default module. Anyone same issue?? Thanks
Hey Mark, I'm trying to use my Arturia Beatstep to control parameters using the midi learn function as you've explained in this vid but no joy...any clues? cheers!
This is really cool but it doesn't work for me, I installed the latest OS update and then orac but every time I open it in the organelle I can't see or hear anything! Have you got any suggestion?
Dear Mark Harris, I’ve got a quick question: Suppose my Organelle did not have a physical chromatic keyboard. Why? Let’s say it was born that way :) It isn’t good or bad. Suppose in all other respects it was identical. Could I still use Orac? Would there be a workaround? Thank you!
Mark Harris Thanks, actually mine does have the 1.3 Oled, hardware aux button, led, controls, etc. Even some extra stuff like a battery and spdif out. But soldering all keys to a multiplexer seemed like too much trouble. This is the first time I regret not having done it. Cheers anyways for Orac 1.1, I am looking forward to it!
Hai TechnoBear, newbie here. How to save preset in ORAC? I have a problem everytime i go to global menu and select another patches and go back to ORAC, my New 1 New 2 presets disappear Please help TB or anyone, kinda desperate here :(
@@teslamanafmusic Save Preset is at the top of the preset menu. Did you install this properly? you cannot just 'unzip' it an copy it to usb/sd card. you **have** to install it, by copying zop file to usb/sdcard, and then using 'Install Orac' from the Organelle menu. (this is explained on the installation instructions) If you don't do this, and number of functions will not work correctly if you don't see a data and media directory on your sdcard/usb stick this is your issue.
If I take off other patches from my Organelle, will Orac run more module patches smoothly? Basically I tried running a few different modules at the same time but it starts to crash after about 3 depending on the patch/module for me haha (hope my question makes sense) I love this and thank you so much for it also!
Superb, astonishing job! Many, many thanks for your participation on making this great instrument even greater! You are our Organelle hero!
Great work Mark, this is how Organelle should of started!
This is going to sell a ton of organelles. It just got me off the fence to buy one.

stopped half way through to install and have a play! this is very slick - thank you Mark!

Need to get me one of these things. Nice watch btw
That's my evening sorted!!
You are à genius, thank you so mutch for your work, you give me a perfect gift 🍀🙌😁 love you
How does one determine which version of orac is installed on their device? I'm using an Organelle.

sorry Id need more details, can you post on the C&G forums, easier to discuss there
@@TheTechnobear Sure, will do later
This is so cool! Is Orac also working on the new Organelle M version?
Miss Noisy yes works in the organelle m too,
The pieces played in my organelle m video were all orac :)

I mean, external midi controller does not seem to be capable of switching between modules, right?

Tesla Manaf you need to select save on top menu, after you have done save/new preset.
@@TheTechnobear already done it. But still :( thanks for replying tho. Your works is beyond terrific
Are you also doing save preset?
This is better discussed on C&G forum, UA-cam is no good for support questions.
Already did all the save button. But still don't know what and where Save Preset is, can't find in manual book and forum discussion either 😔

how does "orac" compare to "automatonism"?
blue name completely different goals , so depends upon what you are trying to do. Try each and see which suits your purposes better.

Hey Mark,
Do you have any recommendations on a replacement USB?
❤
I'm none the wiser.
perhaps take a look at @loopop video... he is better at these things for overviews :)
