I have watched at least 50 videos about how to install a cat door. Yours is the first and only one that answered all of my questions. I am so happy now. I have had the cat door for a year, and my two cats are driving me insane. I have no one to help me so I have to put on my big girl pants and do it myself. Now, that I understand where to draw the square, I think I can handle it. That was all that was holding me back. It is my back door and I was scared to put a great big hole and have it not fit, lol. Thank you so very much, girl. You are the bomb!!!!!

We got a cat door to to our cats little "hangout" and it took awhile for them to get the idea but now they love it. Sometimes I swear they go in there just to get away from the dog since he's too big! Lol
Love your channel!! Please please make sure that Jack can't get out of the garage. My cat got out and was missing for quite a while. I was so happy when we found him. Cats that go outside don't live as long as house cats. They get into a lot of trouble.
Oh he knows there's nothing out there for him and I had something similar happen but jack jumped off our deck and went into the woods and was missing for 2 days! I was a wreck but i didn't give up looking for him. He's back and knows now that the outside world is not for him!

Great video, I also have a cat and his litter boxes in the garage. I have a cat door but it was the one that was here when I purchased the house so I will definitely be getting another one. Is the one you purchased really loud when he goes through. Thanks for sharing by the way my cats name is Jackson LOL

My house is up on blocks with no foundation. My 4 cats love to hunt both outside and under the house. Had to recently cut a hole in the floor to jack up the house and put in a pillar. The cats loved using the temporary hole in the floor to get in and out of the house. We were wondering if anyone has heard of a cat door that goes in the floor rather than in a door?
I was thinking maybe an automatic door and sensor like they have in grocery stores, where the cats pass through the sensor and the door automatically slides open for them. Good advice! Thank you. I'm a handyman and I do a lot of woodworking, so I think I am going to make one.
