I'm 32 and I have a high skin fade with natural short hair right now. No product and no high maintenance to work on in the morning. I just have shower my hair in the sink and that's how it's done.

My mother never taught me either.. My dad had finally convinced her to try and teach me how to tie my hair up into a ponytail, but she got frustrated, gave up and never tried again. I still struggle because my hair doesn't seem to want to be pulled through a hair tie like this guys does.

I watched and gave up before I even attempted trying! I actually tried like 5 or so times with your method (while watching/pausing, trying to figure out what I was doing wrong)... and then the inevitable happened... I snapped my hair tie! So, since I don't have any hair ties within range of my bed, I shall try more tomorrow... and give up, because apparently giving up is what I do best!
