Awesome job. I always love using faucets for single hole applications. Much cleaner look for sure especially if you have multiple things from, soap dispensers, air switch for a garbage disposal if one is installed and single handle faucets.
Flushing the line is always so important especially when the pipes are copper hand soldering is done which I am used to doing being a lot of remodel situations.
I'd say that 90% of my jobs all had garbage disposals. I, personally don't care for them and never had one growing up. I've used schedule 40 for a lot of my kitchen sink traps as well, easy to make adjustments and even more water volume since thin wall traps actually fit inside of schedule 40. Again this is more because of remodeling jobs etc. I love the double shut off especially with the two valves. I always told people, Never use a single valve with two lines going out. If you have a problem with the hot water on the faucet or dishwasher and one valve, turning the valve off, you lost both units. Especially if it's the dishwasher that goes bad, a single valve will eliminate the faucet as well. I'm a big plumbers putty as well even in bathroom sinks. I don't trust the thin rubber seal especially if the sink design has a more tapered drain area like different brand porcelain sinks in a bathroom. That gasket will not seal the drain properly. I've used WD 40 for cleaning up the putty only when it's a stainless steel sink. It won't harm the sink. Great job especially showing the underneath part as well. Gives your viewers a better concept and the steps to do things a little easier. Always tuff working on remodel jobs when you have a disposal, hot shot unit, roll out trashcan rails etc. Amazing how I would get under a sink at 6'4". Glad I have long arms. 👌🏻

Thank you David! Single hole installation is much better IMO. I don’t mess with copper too much but I could see how important that is. We had a garbage disposal years ago and gave up problems. I have nothing against them but I don’t care for them either. WD 40 is a good idea. Thanks for that. Ok I got to get back you laboring. Take care David!

Love it! I use sharkbites on all of my plumbing projects. Don't have to get my torch and solder out anymore!

Can you perhaps do a video on why your p trap might be leaking. I noticed you put it together without lining it up or anything and that worked perfect for you but mine is giving me trouble. Maybe because mine is the old S trap perhaps?

Also, my bathroom faucet doesn't have a pop up but the drain I bought does. Is there any way to block off the cap where it goes or can you just have the ball extension thing in it but not connected to the thing that pops up? Thanks for all you do

6:23 you should’ve used the gasket. The puddy usually doesn’t come off the stainless finish.
Also, you could use a cotton towel to debur the p trap assembly when you cut it 😉
For the most part. Your plumbing is better than some of the men I work with 😂
