I know right? Like, Neil is literally a combination of my favorite musician and a character from my favorite show, but his placement is so tough that he literally goes 1-2 in my ideal scenario.

It's crazy to me how much effort and passion this community has for how small it is.
Every section is done so well
I can't stop coming back to this mix
Section 1 with its high energy and banger drops
Section 2 with a more menacing tone before subverting into something calmer before going back to that same "menacing" tone
And then Madeon carrying section 3 with Stay awake
It's all perfect
That thing with Stay Awake was almost definitely intentional because it was the song that carried the Ultimus losers round 2 bracket track btw
Keep in mind that (especially for these sixteen initial months), voting responsibly is going to be *very* impactful for the rest of the tournament, as most of the contestants are mostly on equal footing balance wise and half of the cast won’t even move past the first four rounds of voting anyways, and even just the smallest decision between two characters could send a character barreling down the abyss
Try not to vote solely based on your personal preferences, or a character’s past performances, or their lore, but more on what you want to see covered from sources, *your* specific tastes on what *you* want to see in tracks. The more *potential* you see in a character, the more you should vote for them. Goodness knows how many good MW1 contestants got fucked over in winners bracket
Before we start, i'll remind those not on the discord how scheduling is going to work.
Mondays and Tuesdays will be the solos (monday will be farquaad, tuesday will be tatg)
The Duel Tracks will happen Wednesday and Thursday. You'll have 2 days to vote.
There won't be any tracks on Fridays or Sundays (except for this track).
However, Saturdays... say it with me, everyone!
Saturdays are made for Mashup Week! And Mashup Week Megamix results!
All tracks will be uploaded at 6 PM!

this whole track is incredible and makes me so hyped for this massive event, but i especially find myself coming back for 3:35. the way the meet the sniper/magnum force theme is recontexualized into a very major tone is outstanding on the mashup artist's part
Remember Don't vote for the Character that you like. You have to take a look at its sourcelists, Some characters that you don't like/ or care may have a better sourcelist pulls.

5:42 - Fallen Kingdom sounds so good in this, probably my favorite part of this track.
This is an utterly incredible bracket track; Everything in here goes so smoothly together! Regardless of who wins or loses, the effort put into this tournament is incredible, and I'm unbelievably hyped for bracket to actually start. Massive kudos to the MWM team!
...If we were to talk about who I want to win though, Ace D. Copular all the way! Cartoon Network, [adult swim], Gorillaz, and Alt. Rock are all amazing sources on their own but combined together they produce what might just genuinely be my favorite character in any tournament. Best of luck to everybody and their mains, and may the best win!

For real, the amount of quality the Megamix team have provided for this tournament is amazing! This bracket track has amazing visuals. Like seriously, you all improved so much from the first tournament. Can't wait to see everything this tournament has to offer.

I keep coming back for the opening with all the characters, such a good piece.
It's an eight minute long track but I can't stop replaying it. Everything from 5:15 onwards is pure gold.

I'm going to have the hardest time ever voting on the round between RoE and MTT Tour. They both pull from things that I absolutely love, and when matched up against basically anyone else would be 100% guaranteed to have my vote unless the other character got an absurdly awesome mix. The duel tracks for that one are gonna be awesome, but oh man. Hate that I have to choose between Tally Hall and claymation stuff or Toby Fox and glam rock stuff. It just breaks my heart.

Honestly the scariest part of 32 man tournaments is that someone has to be the hobart and off the hook (if the 32 man tournament is a sequel) of the tournament (by that i mean someone has to get 32nd and a veteran that got top 3 might become 1rl) and thats a shame as all these guys are pretty cool... Godspeed to all especially when top 16 happens
