PULLEY RIDGE 150 Mile Offshore Fishing Trip From Fort Myers {24 HOUR CRAZY TRIP} Slow Pitch Jigging

- This is the story of a crazy 24 hour non-stop fishing adventure.
We head 150 miles offshore on the Triple Tale (World Cat 320CC) to the Pulley Ridge area in the Gulf of Mexico to do some serious fishing with bottom rigs, slow pitch jigging and using electric reels for deep dropping in 500 ft of water. This slow pitch jigging technique blew us off our feet with success. By far more hookups than the electric reels.
We caught a wide variety of fish. Queen Snapper, Mutton Snapper, American Red Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Mahi Mahi (Dorado or Dolphin), Tile Fish, Yellow Edge Grouper, Red Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Kitty Mitchell Grouper, and a huge Almaco Jack.
Our plan was to spend the night offshore and fish all night and morning but the weather had other plans for us as you can see in the video. - Спорт
I come back and watch this vid every few months. The vid quality sucks. The editing sucks. And yet, none of that matters! You guys had great fun and killed it! Your joy is contagious. Thank you for sharing! I'll probably watch again in July or so, lol.
That screamer would be on float behind the boat! Jeez! What a lady.
Lol everyone was screaming
@@evanrexroat7492 this is still the funniest comment. Chris the lady screamer
@@AndyEmerson8 lol
The Big Man was killn it wit the Jiggin!!!! He was landing some Big Ass Grouper !!!
That’s “Fishing with Evan”, the guy’s a legend. All these hot girls keep calling me trying to find out how to get a hold of him to ask him on a date. Unreal! Slays fish
What an epic trip!!!!! I LOVED all your excitement, that was awesome!!!
The excitement was infectious!!! Well done Andy!
Awesome video! It looks so much fun! Lucky those who are going to enjoy eating all that fish! Love it!

Haha love the excitement! I get like that too 😂
This is the most exciting fishing video I have ever watched.
*Disclaimer* I have never watched a fishing video before.
BUT this was amazing! ha
Great video!
Awesome trip fellas! Loved the video. Sucks the weather turned on you, but that's Florida. Tight lines and safety is what it's all about.
great job my friend
Dream trip. I just got a 32’ capehorn with 280 gal of fuel. I’m wanting to do that trip. Great video
Awsome trip guys. Good job getting home safe capt. What a great video, wish there were more like it. Pulley ridge is on my bucket list. Hoping to get a bigger boat next year and do the trip myself. Got me excited right with you lol👍🤙🍻
Nice catch!
Got that organic grocery list nice work
Nice Queen Snapper
Austin McCullers my #1 subscriber. Thanks Austin. I saw your video of the shark in Islamorada, cool!!!
Awesome Trip! We have to go so many miles and on the east coast they have to go 500 ft in comparison :) Massive reef donkey!
I know!! It takes 60miles to even start to get near the good stuff. Thanks for the comment. Hoping to have some more videos soon!
Awesome video! How much better does the WC handle the waves vs a mono?
World cats are a chiropractor's best friend lol
Great video guys!! What is the make of the fuel transfer pump?
Weekend warriors. Lol
Great job guys. Whats ur boat fuel capacity.?
How do you find spots like that do you just go out and sonar the bottom?
What charter is this? Been looking for a pulley ridge trip for the longest
Coming outta Ft Myers, did you guys fish the northern parts of Pulley Ridge? All the boats from Key West fish the southern grounds of PR. I'm trying to get a feel for the northern quarter or so.
Hi....whats the rod, reel and line test used to bag that yellowedge grouper?
Avet sxj on an accurate slow pitch rod with 50lb power pro and and 40lb leader and a 250gram slow pitch jig
Never seen a queen snapper before. No need to scream as if there was an alien invasion.
Nice job. 150mi is not for the faint of heart. I just got a 23' Mako w twins, how far would you take that out of fmb?
I think it depends on fuel capacity use 1/3 to get there, 1/3 to get home, and leave 1/3 of your tank for the unexpected at the minimum. The plus is you have dual engines which are safer. Watch the weather. I appreciate the comment!
Did you have numbers already or did you go there blind and just use the bottom machine?
We have some numbers and general areas to go explore using the sonar. We surprisingly did better when we were exploring.
whose capt i ready to go
Great Trip Guys! Where did you leave from?
DMW65 thank you! We left from Fort Myers through Big Carlos Pass.
If you do not have XM weather you need to get it running 150 miles out. It will save your life.
So you tossed the smaller dead Kitty Mitchell ?
Craig P we kept the first one we caught. Vented and sent the second one back down. Can’t remember off the top of my head which one was caught first. Only allowed one per vessel.
got very rough lol
Was brutal! Haha we were getting delirious 6 hours into the rough ride home. Was so happy when I got home and passed out
Damn I thought cats don't slam 😄. Maybe you needed to pick up speed?
Jeeze the screaming is a bit much
Must be nice to be rich and afford these kind of trips good job
Yeah it's really nice to work hard and have a skill set that's valuable to the economy.
Karl Kobler Couldn’t have said it better myself. Thanks Karl!
Buy a boat with a cabin. You can afford it
Like a guided charter? Or do you want me to buy an actual boat that comes with a captain that lives on the boat?
Could do without the screaming.
Drama Queen
I see what you did there LOL
Anyyoing asf with all that yelling
