Dr. B.F. Skinner: [spoken]
If a child is really not getting much reinforcement out of life,
then a little parental or instructional approval would be enough to get the child going.
But that should be withdrawn!
You should break down the control exercised by another person,
But there's no freedom involved in either case.
He's not independent of the natural world:
He has already come under the control of the physical environment...
[CHORUS C]
.i cnemu jonai sfasa .oi
fi po mi dirba traji kenra do soi
.i do re mi re do re si
pu za’o zbasu .i do na se binxo mi

This is, to date, the most lyrical, free flowing lojban song I have heard(not that there are that many). I never realized how well the language can rhyme. Awesome job!
Wow, such a beautiful compliment! Thank you
@@NoiseAndBells Unfortunately I am not versed in lojban(too different from ordinary language + no time). Does the last sentence translate to: Believe it or not, lojban has amusingly infinite rhyming potential?
@@HoukaiBG yes!
This may be my favorite track yet (though it's close w/ "sruri fa lo tarci"). Please keep it up, your music rocks!
Thanks so much

“Do” here seems to be like G# in A=440Hz tuning. But still great!

I love your work! I gave up learning Lojban many years ago and was far from fluent even back then, how fluent are you in Lojban? Are these songs written carefully by looking things up in a Lojban dictionary, or can you write most of it based on knowledge?
Hi there! At this point I'm fluent in text and moderately fluent in spoken conversation. Also, my songs are mostly created from my own knowledge of the language, though I sometimes have to double-check place structure and such. In any case, I'm so glad you enjoy my songs and I hope you get back into lojban someday
great work
having almost no knowledge of lojban, but a very bad understanding of it, i tried to decompose the first line:
do mi sombo lo fusra je festi
you (x1) | me (x2) | plants (gismu) | the rot/decay and (metaphor) waste (x3) |
sombo is described as:
(x1) sows/plants (x2) [crop/plants] at/in (x3) .
so _do_ is the planter
_mi_ gets planted
_lo fusra_ and _je festi_ are where they get planted
Very close! {lo fusra je festi} is a single argument made from two predicates -- {fusra} "decay" and {festi} "waste" -- connected by the logical "and" operator, {je}.
So, {lo fusra je festi} is "something which is both decay AND waste".
@@NoiseAndBells lojban is very new to me, so yeah
Also, beautiful job @la nonselcme ractu!

What DAW do you use to create your music?
Logic Pro (appropriately enough) and occasionally FL Studio :)
@@NoiseAndBells ki’e!
what are the chords to this?
Here you go! It's written specifically for tenor ukulele with low G, but I'm sure you could figure it out on guitar as well. Let me know if you have any trouble with any of the parts: pastebin.com/CeEUgs8v
@@NoiseAndBells thank you! i play the ukulele, so this should be fun :)
@@NoiseAndBells if i use a standard ukulele how would the capo 3rd fret transfer to that?
@@that_orange_hat It's exactly the same on a standard uke- just capo the 3rd fret to play in C minor like the song :)

well, good song, but I can't understand it... perhaps I can understand it just like my other language in the future :v
