Honey wake up, new Ryan Mense video just dropped! Actually saw and photographed my first Virginia Rail a couple of weeks ago. A single one about 20ft away foraging, not giving a shit about me at all.

Nice outing! I can wait to head south this winter and see actual double digit number of species vs our measly Alaska winters.
To be fair you get everything good in the summer AND in breeding plumage 😄
