Great video! I caught my fist snook on a jig last night. I just uploaded a video today of the catch. I was reeling the jig as fast as I could through a light and a keeper nailed it! I'm going to try our bounce technique soon. I just subscribed to your channel.
i grew up fishing the fort pierce inlet and bay system, its been 15 years or so since i wet a hook there, we used to catch 10+ lb sheephead off of the walls and nice big mutton snapper off those marker poles your fishing around, but i remeber snook fishing and seeing true monsters under the dock lights snook that would push 100lbs, you guys should go catch some of those giant jack cravelle that hang up around there, nice to see the area again brought back a ton of memories, there used to be a giant tree filled island we used to call timeshare island, also there was a little rock island right across from the big island that used to be filled full of sheephead limit out and move on in an hour or so
Lost all your fish because you keep your rod tip so high. Your guiding the fish up. You never want to guide these fish up with jigs. Keep your rod tip down and to the side. Never fails when you guide these big snook up like that with rod tip in air they jump and throw the hook. I always keep rod tip down and to the side low so they don’t jump.
favorite episode dont get tired of watching it.
