I've had both......although the Suzuki was the 2018 model. But I'd say my personal preference for real world riding would be the Suzuki. I had 2 warranty issue's with the MT and got fed up with the useless tank range , and filling up every time I took it out.

I have this New GSX-S 1000, it's absolutly no regret ! A perfect motorcycle for beginner ! Just a pure joy and the sound is great ! Not too much but when you go full sport ! +4000rpm the exhaust open itself

The only thing i miss from my 21 GSX-S1000 is the cruise control coz of the longer motorway trips, but the new GSX-S1000GT has that already

Are you able to add cruise control to the GSX-S1000? I think heated grips is an extra option but I couldn't find CC.

@@fynn8252 u can get aftermarket CC’s what u have to wire in with the ECU but the look of the cc unit gonna be much bigger then the stock installed ones.
Or the expensive option is to make it the nice way if u take the whole ecu and wiring from a 2021/22 gsxs1000gt and get the full handlebar system too. But that’s gonna be way too much money

@@GSX-S_Warrior The expensive option will easily set you back 3 grand. I think there are cheap throttle locks for $15 on eBay/Amazon but those look a little sketchy. Would be nice to see an option from Suzuki but I guess you’ll need the GT model for that (like you mentioned).

I would go with a MT10 but it drinks gas like a starved abandoned kid on a highway. Suzuki would be my choice due to its K5 tuned down engine

I rode a 2019 mt 10 and didnt like the seating position. The waste to feet were to close. Almost felt like a sport bike with how much my knees were bent. Thats just my opinion tho. I have a 2018 Mt 07 and im not brand loyal either.
